I have a 14' gate with an FM200 closer. This is a longer gate than recommended, but it is very light gauge tubing. The only problem I've had keeping the gate closed is wind, and adding this latch seems to be the Rx. Installed easily enough, works as advertised (so far anyway).
working fine after 5 years. very heavy duty as a gadget, and quite secure as a lock. you must protect the cable from snagging and from puppies and other little varmints
Just put it in, works flawlessly. Doesn't hang up like the other review said--need to make sure you level your gate and the lock, then it is fine.
