So this is one of our favorite blends and we always order multiples as you can see it has asparagus, corn, and carrots and is so versatile with a variety of dishes. These are so easy to make and always perfect freshness. We love Birdseye.
I love Birds Eye steam vegetables!! I can put a Roast in the crock pot! Go about my day working hard, you know like doing my nails, watching the Notebook, working on my reviews on Influensters than just before the family comes in, take roast out and put some Birdseye vegetables in the microwave, and it looks like you have been in the kitchen all day!! A wonderful meal and the family thinks your the greatest thing since sliced bread was invented!!
After gaining tons of weight during Covid I'm rigidly following a healthier diet now. This is one of my favorite easy to make vegetable sides that is tasty and low calorie that I will pair with a nice piece of salmon. Do I wish it had a little more asparagus tops, yes. But still great.
This is an amazing vegetable mixture. My issue like a lot of items with Walmart is that you may purchase it once or twice and then you can never get it again. I have also looked for cherry pie filling at my local Walmart for over 2 weeks. A spot on the shelf but no pie filling????? Really ! Typical for my walmart.
We have a multi-package of these vegetables from my sister-in-law's freezer that are dated 2019. Not expecting much from this old package, we were amazed at how fresh the vegetables tasted. The asparagus was tender, the corn as though it was just shucked, and all vegetables flavorful. We will be buying more and looking at other Steamfresh products. Nice job Birds Eye.

I just tried this for the first time last night, and found it to be a such a wonderful combination that I had to come here to leave a review. I was dismayed to see so many negative reviews of this product. The top complaint seems to be "woody" asparagus pieces. Come on, folks, that's just the harsh reality of asparagus! Fresh or frozen, thick or thin, asparagus is ALWAYS a gamble!
I was surprised at how much I loved the corn and asparagus mix in this variety! The asparagus cooked perfectly, tender, yet not mushy at all. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the carrots tasted odd...hard to explain. Would love this if it was corn and asparagus, only. I think that some of the reviewers probably didn't cook theirs the right amount of time. Will buy again, if just for the two veg.
I buy Birds Eye all the time and the carrots in the bag of corn, carrots, and asparagus tasted sour almost. The other veggies tasted ok but we couldn't eat the carrots. I'm hoping the others weren't bad even though they're together. I'll definitely call the company if we get sick. Disappointed in them this time.
The asparagus was nothing but large woody ends. Terrible!
