Hyper Tough, 8 x 12 Heavy Duty Shelf Bracket, White, Hardware Included are very stable and easy to install. I wanted a window shelf for my cats, and found these brackets super easy to use! I bought a piece of wood from a local hardware store, cut and sanded to be smooth and to size. I was able to easily screw the enclosed screws into the board and then mount the entire shelf into a stud on the wall. The brackets are heavy duty, nicely painted white and look great on the wall. These are big strong brackets. They will definitely hold a large shelf and a good amount of weight. The bracket itself is made from a heavy metal. It may be steel but it's covered in white paint so I can't tell for sure. It has three holes to attach the bracket to the wall. There are also three holes that attach into your shelf. I love that the hardware is included with this bracket. There are long and short screws that come with each bracket (six of each). So you can decide which screws you use based on your shelf thickness.
I am pleasantly happy with this nice brackets! They are covered in a nice, smooth white enamel that seems to resist rust. Attaching the brackets seems fairly straightforward. You do have to make sure you install them correctly, especially if you're working with drywall. These brackets have a nice weight to them, and though I didn't find any weight limit information, these brackets seem like the real deal, and able to handle quite a bit of weight. Where the cross piece attaches to the L-shaped bracket, there is a little wielding "bump", but when put up against a flat surface, there is continuous contact with the bracket surface. I did measure these brackets, and for those who care to know the exact measurements, they are 11.8125 inches, by 8.1875 inches. This information might be useful depending on how much overhang you're hoping for. Hardware includes 6 - 1.5 inch screws and 6 - 0.75 inch screws. Overall, a nice quality product! I'm very pleased.
This bracket is so strong. It's very thick and will not give when screwed into the wall. It will have to be put in a stud because of the size of it. It's extra large and will hold a nice size shelf. I put mine in my garage because of the strength of it. It does look nice enough to put in your house in any room. Love the white color because it goes with any décor. A lot of screws come with it and it comes in a set of two.
WHEN MY HYPER TOUGH SHELF BRACKETS ARRIVED I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THEY WERE VERY WELL PACKAGED. THE HEAVY DUTY SHELF BRACKETS ARE 8 X 12 WITH PRE DRILLED HOLES FOR THE SCREWS. I AM HAVING MY COUSIN COMING BY TO ADD THE SHELVING FOR MY CLOSET. I NEED A PLACE FOR MY QUILTS AND BLANKETS AND THESE BRACKETS WILL HOLD THEM JUST RIGHT.
I have used other sizes of this line of shelf brackets and was very satisfied with them. This size is no different. It is very well made, sturdy enough to hold any load the screws can hold and has a nice finish (glossy white) so it could be used in any room in the house, as well as in the shop. It came with more than enough screws to mount to the wall and to attach the shelf, which is kind of unusual these days. It took about 10 minutes to put up and I'm very happy with it. I do recommend predrilling the holes in the wall for mounting because the screws are pretty large. I'll be buying more of these!
These brackets are for a serious shelf. They are hefty, really beefy and thick. The are far thicker and heaver than the other brands. The screw holes are a little larger diameter to accommodate a stronger, longer screw set. The welds are exceptionally smooth. They are powder coated baked enamel, mine are white. Everything you need to mount the brackets is included with a bag of screws per bracket.
Wow these heavy duty white metal shelf brackets are great. I'm writing this review for the Sparks review program and when I received these brackets they were packed according to size of the bracket as in my pictures and not realizing how sturdy they were going to make a shelf. The brackets are covered with a high gloss white paint washable easy to clean. Using them to make a wall table theses brackets are a heavy metal with a metal cross brace strong enough and heavy duty enough to hold hundred pounds of weight.Comes with the hardware in two different sizes which is great using something this heavy duty and strong. Make sure to find a stud if using for a lot of weight plus there is 3 holes top and bottom for strength and hold. I would definitely recommend this product and will be buying more of these brackets knowing how strong they are. Thanks to the sparks review campaign and able to choose this product I'm very happy
I really needed this Hyper Tough, 8 x 12 Heavy Duty Shelf Bracket, White, Hardware Included! I have a wall with plenty of space for a shelf too! That's one reason why I chose them, as a Spark Reviewer. When they arrived, I was excited to finally have a shelf in the little cabin, to set things on. I wish I could take a photo of them on the wall right now, but the walls aren't finished yet. I did take pictures of them as they came out of the box tho. These are really heavy duty brackets! Heavy too! Good quality. Much better than I expected! I would recommend these shelf brackets to anyone that is looking for some.
These Hyper Tough heavy duty shelf brackets are all you need for mounting a shelf, even if a very heavy shelf! These 8x12 brackets are made of solid quality, and they come with all the hardware necessary for installation. I'm impressed with the quality, and I feel confident that I'll be able to put a large, heavy pine board across the top once installed. As long as these are mounted on the wall where there's a stud, I don't see it coming down very easily! The brackets have multiple holes, so you can adjust exactly where you want the screws to go. Overall, I'm very impressed with Hyper Tough and this product, and I can tell this is going to last forever! You need heavy duty? This is it!!!
