Mid-East Electric Frame Oud Hourglass w/ Gig Bag - Black *Blemished

BLEMISHED: Handcrafted in Cairo, Egypt, this oud embodies what happens when the East meets the West. This model features a Soho Piezo ceramic pickup with a 4-band equalizer with volume control and low battery indicator. The scale length is approximately 600 mm. The finish is a catalyzed polyurethane. The neck and body are pine and the finger board is hard wood. There are 12 geared tuners, however, the maker of this oud only installs 11 strings. It is very popular in Cairo to play with only 11 strings; only one on the bass or 6th course. There are multiple tuning options for instrument, but we recommend using the Arabic method: D2, G2, A2, D3, G3, C4 (low to high). This oud has a range of a little more than 3 octaves. Oud will fit our OUDH case, but case is not included with item.
