I bought this in Orange and citrus green. Both are see threw colored gloss. Not a true paint. colors are pretty but more like a stained glass effect.
Having spent some 15 years in the paint business, including owning a paint store, I can tell you with certainty that latex enamels can be bit "tedious" to apply; this product was no exception. Expect to have to apply two coats---I did using this dark brown color over a light gray. You will have to use a high quality brush or you will see brush strokes and poor hiding will result. It sets up pretty quickly so try to keep a "wet edge" and do not brush back into an area after it sets. Expect to wait 6 hours to apply the second coat, and expect to wait 30 days for the paint to fully CURE--- to reach its full hardness and durability. (Do read the (instructions on the can!) It does flow on well, but as I stated it does not hide very well. This is an inexpensive product (less than $4 )so you can't expect miracles; you can overcome its deficiencies by correctly preparing the surface--- sanding/priming--- using the best quality applicator and observing the proper application techniques. I received a decent outcome---I believe that you will too.
I've had 40+ years of experience and painted many things with many paints, but I agree this is possibly the worst paint I have encountered for coverage. Seems a lot like children's water colors. I do think you could get better coverage with water and food coloring. In years past Krylon has produced good some products but this is certainly not one of them.
