I am a very basic gamer and will probably only be using this joystick for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and it works EXTREMELY well for the price paid and for Flight Simulator period. This is a basic controller for the basic gamer and I would not recommend it for advanced users and/or 1st person shooters simply because the joystick doesn't twist, it's just your forward, backwards, side to side, and everywhere in between controller. You can turn it in a full 360 degrees turn but you can't twist it. Overall, this is a very superb piece of gaming equipment for the BASIC player (like me).
I love this joystick I used it for FS2004 and I am now using it for FSX. Very easy comtrols for FSX. Also after four years of owning it it still works.
Crisp controls. Convenient button layout. Excellent joystick at a great price. I didn't want to spend a hundred dollars on a joystick I only needed to play one game. After using this joystick for one game, I started looking for more games to play with it. Its just so much fun to use. Highly recommended. Tip: Download the 'Logitech Gaming Software' from the Logitech website. It makes it very easy to configure the button layout different ways and save a profile for each game you want to use it with. Also lets you create shortcuts to all of those games within the Gaming Software so you can conveniently launch them all from there.
Gave this as a gift to me brother and he loves it! It works great with the Flight simulator game. He plays it everyday!
Easy to use and setup. Auto-detected by my PC and works well. Lots of buttons to program for gaming functions.
i'm using my joystick on flight simulator X. for $21.00 it can't be beat. i highly recommend this for anyone using flight simulator X. it may have only 11 buttons but you won't use all of them. you won't be disappointed.(tip) buttons 3&4 on top let you trim nose up & down.

I am not what you call a gamer. I just wanted a simple joystick to use with some simplier computer games so my grandkids could play when visiting. I bought the Logitech Attack 3 joystick for two reasons. One it is compatible with Windows 7 and two the price was reasonable. I am sure there are better more expensive joysticks out there for those who are high tech gamers but this product was exactly what I was looking for.
The joystick overall is ok. But for MS Flightsim, which is what I bought it for, it is not so good. For instance, it has no rudder control. The throttle control is very sensitive and difficult to control. The dead zone on the stick is nearly non-existent which makes flying hard, especially during landing. The so-called hat switch is not recognized by MS Flightsim 2004 or X. I regret having bought the joystick and do not recomend it to other flight enthusiasts.
I'm sure it is a great product my son says it didn't have all what he needed on it. It's not Wal-marts fault.
