I must say when i got the wheel i was not expecting it to be what i thought it was going to be. Its actually better than that!!! The force feedback feels great. Its also a good thing that you can ajust the force of the wheel. Although there is one problem. Depending on the game i guess this product doesnt work on ps2. Price, it stinks but if you have extra money you must get it!!!!!!!
yeah it price may be high to see for first glance; but all three pedal are stainless steel, along with the center of the wheel and the wheel shift levers; the rim of the wheel is in real leather, so is the shift nob and the shift boot; the most universal wheel for console(playstation2&3)&PC race gamers. actualy feels like driving a real car. and its easy to setup and self calibrating thats a big plus. oh its not just for G25 compatible games, any game compatible with logitech driving force and driving force pro wheels, this wheel will work for. Very Great product to go full out with the new release of GranTursimo 5
This wheel is awesome. Big step up from my Logitech Driving Force Pro. I do alot of online racing and i have seen a differance in my lap times with the G25. It takes a little bit of work to get the feel you want and to remeber you now have a "clutch" and not two brakes.lol About my only complaint is that Logitech could have included the bolts and a pattern so you can screw the wheel and shifter to your desk. All in all great product.
Everything about this wheel is exactly how I would have wanted it except for one thing. The shifter. The shifting gates are not "positive", they are quite sloppy and give you the feeling that it's just a toy. With the quality of the steering wheel and pedals I was just let down a touch by the shifting mechanism. It's too easy to go from first to fifth by accident. Maybe no one else will find this to be a problem. I'm just used to tight, positive feeling, short throw shifters.
I would like to address this thought to the makers of the wheel, you need to have big men help you in your endevors with making these wheels and pedals... Thank you.
Very realistic, shifting with clutch is accurate, great wheel response, great force feedback. Combined with the Playseats setup, it is like driving a real car. Pricey but well worth it if you are into driving games.
This is the fourth gaming wheel I have owned in the past seven years. I like the size and feel of this one better than most of the others. The pedals are excellent except for the spacing. The included software allows the user to adjust the wheel for use with different games and even has profiles for them. All driving games can be loaded from the Logitech Gaming software. I like that the amount of force feedback is adjustable to suit person preference.
This racing wheel is very rare and durable. It feels like you are driving a real car. it's compatible for 3 consoles but it's extremely expensive. I believe...I will call this product "The 3-in-1 steering expenser".
Ordered on a monday, shipped the following tuesday. Simply put, this is the best steering wheel on the market. Leather wrapped wheel, aluminum frame, aluminum pedals, 6speed H-pattern shifter OR sequential up and down shifts. The feedback on this thing is nuts, you can feel the friction of the road on the tires as well as bumps and change in terrain. Wheel mounts on surfaces like a dream with no slip and easy tightening via pop up screws. The carpet grip on the pedals are great for carpeted surfaces (no slip). So go nuts on the pedals, cuz this thing is quality. And you can really feel it. Worth every penny. Feels like an arcade machine. Great with GT5p on the PS3.
I originally had bought the Driving force GT and that worked great but everyone said the G25 was so much better. the wheel Isn't that much better I couldn't tell the differance in feedback between the two. The main differances are the H gated shifter and that it is made out of metal and leather. Overall it is a great product, and really fun.
