We bought this for my newborn grandson and my daughter is nursing. He accepts this bottle very well compared to the others. The only problem is when my daughter puts it into the warmer, it takes a long time to warm because of the adapting warming bottom which is need because the bottle would leak in the warmer.
I am currently breastfeeding my daughter but I wanted my husband to be able to feed her as well. We tried many many other bottles and our daughter would fight and fight them. I done some research and found these and they are miracle workers!! I can switch her back and forth between my breast and the bottle and she doesn't fight it. She loves them. I would recommend it to any one and everyone breastfeeding or not!!
These bottles are great. They look and feel as close to a natural breast than any other bottle I have used. And the flow is just right. I have to admit that they are a little pricey, but I think they are worth it. I will have to buy the stage 2 bottles as soon as she gets close to the 3 months mark. BTW I have never rated anything as excellent, but these are close to it.
It took me a bit to get used to this bottle system. IMO, it is difficult to use, but my baby loves it. We tried another system and he never got a good latch and he was always covered with milk when we finished. His latch with this is perfect, seldom do we have any leaking around his mouth. I would recommend it to nursing moms. I always measure and heat either mm or water for formula in another bottle - and then pour into this one since it is hard to measure with this bottle.
