Key Features and Benefits: 3D screen The Nintendo 3DS XL systems open up a whole new world of eye-popping gameplay possibilities. The stereoscopic 3D display of the upper screen gives objects within the game world a feeling of space and depth that extends far into the back of the screen. It becomes easier to see the position of characters and obstacles in the world, making many game experiences even more intuitive for all types of players. 3D Depth Slider A built-in 3D Depth Slider allows you to immediately adjust the intensity of the 3D settings on the Nintendo 3DS system to your liking. The 3D effect can also be turned down completely - all Nintendo 3DS games and applications can be played in 2D, and look better than any Nintendo handheld before it. Motion sensor & gyro sensor Portable play control reaches a new level with these amazing features, allowing for unique gameplay mechanics. A built-in motion sensor and gyro sensor can react to the motion and tilt of the system, so whether players are twisting their systems side to side or moving them up and down, their motion-compatible Nintendo 3DS games respond instantly. Analog control With the Circle Pad, located above the + Control Pad, all systems in the Nintendo 3DS family offer full analog control. Combined with the touch screen, traditional buttons, camera and microphone input, and advanced motion control of the motion sensor and gyro sensor, the potential is extraordinary. 3D camera The Nintendo 3DS family of systems can take photos in 3D, thanks to the two outward-facing lenses. Capture eye-popping images of your friends and family, have fun with filters like the Merge lens, or even use the system's AR technology and included AR Cards to make Mii characters and Nintendo heroes appear in the real world with you. What's Included: Nintendo 3DS XL Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Stylus, 4GB SD Memory Card

Love the XL screen! I can see better and will have to borrow this from my kid so I can play myself! You can use in 2D and 3D mode. Nice Big Screen! The best games to play on a handheld!
Love this Nintendo 3DS Bundle! Mario & Luigu Dream Team game is already preinstalled - a $30.00 value. The 3DS XL system alone will cost you $170.00 to $200.00. I was able to get this bundle from Wal-Mart online for only $169.00! It was a deal :) Very happy. The XL has a larger screen and stereo surround sound...can't go wrong. Very easy to play right out of the box! The Mario & Luigi Dream Team game is role playing type of game...very fun!! I can see why Nintendo 3DS XL is the #1 selling system in the world! 2 thumbs up to Nintendo for a great product!
Of course the 3DS was a hit for Christmas, but, the "special edition", silver Mario/Luigi one made it "the best gift ever!" for my 10 yr old. The product was easy to buy online, fit the description perfectly, and loved the free shipping. It was shipped to my house so soon after purchase, even during the holidays. I was very pleased!! Will always buy and recommend Walmart for holidays! The ONLY suggestion I have, is maybe a little better packaging. Anything can happen during delivery and I didnt feel the product was wrapped safely enough to prevent damage.
The item met all the expectations my 10 year old had and more. Came with preloaded game and arrived before the promised date. Very happy with prompt service. No other website had this price.
By far the best handheld gaming system that Nintendo has released to the general public. The graphics are clear on the screen, plus the screen size is 90 times bigger than the original 3DS. If you have a hard time seeing the screen, then this is a must buy over the original. Plus having the game pre-installed on the system is a definite plus. I'd highly recommend getting the 3DS XL over the 3DS.
My friend got a 3DS which sparked my interest in the system. Then I looked into the games and this was easily my favorite for which system to buy this generation, beating out the PS4. Even though this is the XL version, it still gets a bit uncomfortable to hold and play after a few hours, but then again, a responsible adult shouldn't be playing this for several hours anyway, so I guess that's my fault. The game included was Mario & Luigi Dream Team, which was something I had never looked into nor did I know anything about it. What I got has absolutely floored me. If you played and liked Mario RPG on the SNES, you will ADORE this game. They took that game's feel and combat system and then they added comedy, tons of new features and abilities, and wrapped it around this beautiful core idea that you are playing and controlling both Mario and Luigi at the same time. I'm still getting used to this handheld, but I know for certain that this was worth my money.
At First I only wanted to Purchase just the Limited edition but when they implied to buy two games for the the price on one unit i immediately acted on it cause it was free with the unit so overall great buy and been playing it ever since
The 3DSXL Silver Mario and Luigi edition is an excellent Nintendo handheld to own. The screen size is large, which is excellent for playing games on this system especially in 3D. Even with the large size the system still feels comfortable to hold and use, and is certainly not too heavy. It comes with a 4GB sd card which is a decent size to hold downloadable games on. As a special edition version, this 3DSXL looks quite nice. It has the silver finish on the top and bottom and is black on the inside where the two screens are. Overall it gives this 3DS a clean look that is appealing to me. This version also comes with Mario and Luigi: Dream Team preinstalled which is a pretty good game to get with the system. Overall this 3DSXL is an excellent system to own, especially if you enjoy playing Nintendo games.
The design is outstanding, with the iconic Luigi & Mario on the front and the Year of Luigi 30 Years logo on the back. I like the matte silver finish -- looks great and doesn't show fingerprints. This particular limited edition design was the deciding factor to buy a Nintendo at this time. Right now (since I haven't yet bought the games I want) I'm mostly using it to watch Netflix, which performs pretty darn well. The free YouTube app needs some work; don't recommend this device for YouTube. One of the built-in games, "Face Raiders", is a favorite of my 4 y/o great-grandson; held his interest for a long time. I'm not a fan of the 3D aspect of this device. Regardless of how you adjust the intensity, using the 3D for just a short time bothers your vision. So I just leave it turned off all the time. The built-in speakers are probably okay for game play; but the speakers and volume range could be a whole lot better. Even turned to the loudest level, it's never very loud. Ear buds are almost a necessity. HINT: When you plug your ear buds/headphones in, you have to kind of push them in hard until they "snap" in; took me a few days to figure that out and get the ear buds to actually work. Overall, I'm loving my Nintendo. Was easy to set up and get going with it. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because Nintendo skimped on the speaker quality and volume range.
For this most part this is a great portable game console. The 3D looks impressive and you can switch out of 3D if your eyes start hurting. You can also play games from the older DS in this unit, which I appreciate considering the amount of money paid between the consoles and the games. The online shop is convenient so you can buy the game and not worry about losing the small game piece because the game simply gets loaded into the internal memory. There are demos of games that are easy enough for the kids to try. So, all in all a great unit. I gave it four stars and 3 on value because, personally, I'm tired of these expensive consoles constantly upgrading, breaking down, etc. so the gamer must invest a lot of money to keep up or continue playing.
