Tasty product. Good for you, too!
I buy multiple Ensure products. I like this one because it has more protein which your body needs when trying to lose weight or if your body is healing from an injury or surgery. I have bought Ensure products off and on for many, many years. I remember this product from at least 30 years ago. I know that twenty years ago it was used as a liquid diet for those hospitalized and needing nutrition through a feeding tube. I am older and slightly disabled and it is hard for me to cook my meals. Prepackaged foods are high is sodium, so I try to drink Ensure a couple of times a day as a meal replacement. I also love the fact that the vitamins are in the Ensure because I have a hard time remembering to take vitamins. This particular Ensure product is less in calories than the regular Ensure, but higher in protein. This product is also a little more watery and has a lighter taste than the regular Ensure. But I still like it because of the high protein. Shake the bottle really good before opening and remember to refrigerate what you don't finish. This is a well known product and the only one I will drink to get my extra nutritional needs for vitamins and proteins.
I have changed to Ensure Complete/Milk Chocolate, because a company representative told me that Abbott was discontinuing the Muscle. On the plus side, when I went to the website, Ensure.com, I was able to get some nice coupons, that I am using in the physical stores.
I've tried everything out there with some protein drinks not even worthy of being called horrible. Dry mix is just a pain and sometimes very unpleasant when done. That being said I've had this stigma about Ensure being for old folks, really old folks so I wouldn't have considered it before now. One gulp and I realized I had made a big mistake because this stuff is just plain good, period, end of sentence. So if you can deal with the Ensure old man stigma give it a shot and I think you'll be glad you did. Just tell the checker at the register to please cover it up with a bag quickly so no one else will see you buying it!
I can recommend to Walmart that when shipping this kind of item that they mark the paperwork and shipping container as ( Food Items Keep From Freezing )!!! Mine was not marked and arrived at a chilly 32 degrees.

Tastes great. A lot better that other brands of nutrition drinks. Just a little pricey for 4 bottles.
It has a good taste. Wish it was less expensive.
