I usually buy the Eight O'Clock regular, but lately I've felt like it just wasn't strong enough to wake me up. So I ventured out of my safety zone and ordered the Eight O'Clock Dark Italian Roast, my oh my I really didn't know what I was missing! The taste is so rich and smooth, not acidic at all! I love the Eight O'Clock Dark Italian Roast, it wakes me up with a smile each morning!
If you like Dunkin Donuts hot espresso, you will love this. We made it hot and cold. It was really good.
These Eight O'clock dark Italian espresso, dark roast coffee pods make the perfect cup of coffee. The color of the brewed coffee is a rich cark brown and it tastes rich and strong. I finally found my new go to coffee. I'm so glad I decided to try these pods.
I drink my coffee black.A good strong body not bitter an eye upener
Great coffee if you are looking for a bold dark expresso in your first cup. I use three pumps of Torano's sugar free vanilla syrup and one tablespoon of International Delight Sweet Creamer in a 12oz cup.
I tried this coffee after looking for the darkest roast possible, and after reading the description and several reviews both here and elsewhere. Though I continue to look for an even darker roast that I like, I keep coming back to the "Eight O'Clock - Dark Italian Roast." Starbucks "French Roast" and "Sumatra Dark" are not far off the mark. "Barista Prima Coffeehouse - Espresso Roast" was disappointing (though the description here is accurate). "Eight O'Clock - Dark Italian Roast" is a, I don't know quite how to explain it...) "rich" tasting, not bitter, ever so slightly "chocolatey," dark roast. I guess that I'll continue to order the Starbucks for an occasional change of pace, but "Eight O'Clock - Dark Italian Roast" is my go to k-cup!
easy to set up for auto delivery and good price. I no longer have to run to the store to pick these up
My husband and I only drink Eight O'clock Dark Italian Roast K-Cups!! Definitely the best tasting coffee in a K-Cup around!!! It's bold, flavorful, never bitter and the best part is......you can't beat the price!!!!! The best coffee at the best price!!!! We won't drink anything else. Thumbs up!!!!
I've been drinking Barista Prima Italian blend for several years now and again I try other dark blends for variety. I had Eight O'Clock Dark Italian a few years ago and thought it was a nice dark blend but I was disappointed I had to brew it on the strongest brew and 8 oz, I brew the BP at 10 oz and it's nice and rich. Most people would probably think it was dark enough and it does have a nice taste. Oh well another day another coffee!
Always have been a fan of Eight O'clock coffee. First rate, consistent high quality flavor. Keurig fills the pods for many coffee brands, including Eight O'clock. I noticed and let them know about it, that when the foil top of the pod is domed over, the flavor is perfect. When it is flat or slightly recessed, the coffee is bitter and the flavor is noticeably harsh. So when they get it right; excellent. When they don't, it's crud.
