Bought for back patio, not ideal for my usage but the only thing in that size I could find. Would work better on a regular application.
This gate couldn't contain my 4 month old puppy. He simply grabbed the door with his teeth and pulled it upwards, and it unlatches and he gets out. Wouldn't trust it for babies either. Needs to be more secure. We are returning this.
It's genuinely a really awfully designed gate. The “slam shut” is exactly that. You have to like full force SLAM it to get it to close on its own. It's wobbly as heck, the hinges don't hold it in the correct position so it moves back and forth, and the angles change. I have a hard time using the latch to open it, it's really weird and gets stuck all the time. But at the same time, my 10 month old can pop the gate open just by pushing on it, so it's literally useless. Please don't buy this gate. It sucks. I would rather flush money down the toilet than buy another one of these gates.
The gate broke. And they have discontinued the gate. Sonic ant replace it. I will say the company that made it was fabulous and helpful.
