I was a bit on the fence when ordering a refurbished PS4 but I am thrilled with my purchase. The product came beautifully packaged with everything it was supposed to, and in better condition then I could have ever imagined. Everything came it 100% perfect condition. After reading reviews I almost decided not to order it being that there were a few more poor reviews then I would have liked. I totally took the gamble and would recommend this product to anyone! As I already have to many friends and family.
I wanted to buy new and made the mistake by not reading it all the way through. However, I will say that it works just like it was brand new and am impressed with how the online was so easy etc. I recommend this to all.
I just received the console today. Set it all up, no issues what so ever. Console came in perfect condition, not one scratch on mine. No damage on the controller, no hand/sweat gunk on the contoller either, which was very nice, it felt brand new. All wires and accessories were accounted for. The headset I received was a ear bud one, with a mic attached to it. Wasn't expecting this, thought It would come with one of those that go around your head, but it works fine. Call of duty disc was scratch free, as well. Did not come with the original box. It came in a standard, shoe box looking box. Figured I'd mention this as it shows the original box in the picture. Overall for the price, it was quite a steal. I've been bored senseless of my xbox one, and been wanting to switch for a while, and for $250, it was well worth it.
I am not a video game lover by any means however I needed a new way to blow off some steam in my down time at home so I decided to purchase a gaming console. I was torn between PS4 and Xbox One so I started comparing prices and reviews online. I am someone who prefers used products to new ones if the price savings is significant. In this case I saved around $100 on a refurbished unit compared to a brand new one, which is the cheapest I found a PS4 with the exception of pawn shops. Since I have a Walmart credit card I decided that the deal was too good to pass up. The unit came in the original box and was shrink wrapped inside. The cosmetic appearance looked brand new. Everything worked well and I am extremely happy with the purchase.
The system worked well for a week and a half then I started to have a controller issue that would turn off my system every time it was connected. I called to get an exchange or a refund and they couldn't do either so I'm basically sitting on wasted money.
it had lines going across the screen that got worse when playing the game, and would eventually restart, it was not refurbished they must of thought they did but didn't. I took it back to my local Walmart for a credit and bought a brand new 1 off the shelf. that works perfect
The game was broken and one of the buttons on the controller doesn't work
Initially I thought this PS4 game console was a fantastic bargain. That is until I realized it came without a hard drive (HDD) as well as HDD tray/caddy. That is an additional expense that knocked it out from being a true bargain. Also, it required a system reinstall from the outset.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my kids but when we opened it to hook it up the controller that came with it was for a PS3 and didn't even come with a cable to charge it, not that it matters since we don't own a PS3. Kids are upset since they can't play with the one thing they wanted for Christmas.
I received this item and was so excited. I've had every PS system, but couldn't upgrade to the 4 until now due to financial reasons. Plug everything up, turn it on... To get an error code. No matter what I try, same error. Googled it, and that error code meant the hard drive was corrupt and had to be replaced. I immediately returned the PS4. Would not recommend, I'm not sure who "certified" this refurbishment but I wouldn't trust it.
