This is a remake of this backpack. I bought the original make back in 2005. I still own that backpack til this day. I love it. I use it for school and as a sleepover bag. Sadly, after years of torment, it is falling apart. I wish the old version was around. But this new design isn't bad!
I got this backpack in the summer of 2009! I love this backpack. I am a nursing student, has ample room for my laptop plus all my books! The cushining on the straps are great! This bag is huge on the inside but doesnt look huge when I am carrying it!
I bought this backpack (in Orchid) for my daughter. She is in high school and has many books to carry with her. She needed a "really big backpack" to carry everything. This backpack has loads of space! She loves it! We looked everywhere for an affordable, spacious backpack that doesn't look as huge as a backpacking/hiking backpack and found it at Walmart! She would buy the same one again.
Got this backpack for school and there is a lot of room in it so its perfect for anyone who wants a book bag that can carry a lot of things.
I bought this bag primarily for use when riding my sportbike. The orange "glow" is a perfect hi-viz accessory (although none of the materials used are reflective at all. I had extra reflective strips from an old hi-viz vest that I've detached and sewn on.) It's a perfect bag for my height and size (5'7"). It'll be too large for kids though. I give this 5 stars on all except Overall Quality. While it's perfect for light duty, I can only imagine the everyday stress it will take when you carry hardbound textbooks especially books with sharp edges. Overall, great value!
It is a big bag with plenty of room and pockets for organizing my stuff. Also very light weight. I would not recommend using this as a computer bag because there is no inner padding to protect your laptop. Aside from that, it is a great product and total meets my expectation.
carry w/ me all over college... even when its reallly heavy, it does its job well :) but the straps are hard to get perfectly even and not have it feel a lil awkward on my back... but overall-- excellent! thanks
I bought this backpack for myself but my 8 year old son loved it so much it is now his. The color is great and there is plenty of room inside for his lunch box, books and Webkinz. I highly recommend this backpack because it is very well made, is roomy and has plenty of compartments and pockets.
The backpack was exactly like I hoped. It it very durable and wide. My daughter has alot of binders that is needed for each subject. I believe it weighs more than her. My older daughter has claimed it and now my other daughter wants one in another color. Most of the backpack I have seen are not wide enough to carry everything.
This used to be a great back pack. It still thas a lot going for it, but some of the best hings have been removed. It used to come with a little cell-phone (or digital camera) case as a clip-on accessory. That has disappeared. It used to have a bunch of "organizer" pockets in one of the compartments, that were great for holding pens, a calculator, stamps, bike-tire patches, etc. The over-all quality is still the same, and the bag can hold a surprising amount -- and it always seems like you can stuff (or organize) just one more thing in! The bright orange color is great for bicyclists, providing some visibility to motorists. The padded, adjustable straps are quite comfortable, even when transporting heavy loads. I have really liked the three of these that I have purchased and used in the past. Some of the utility has gone out of the thing with the new modifications the manufacturer has made -- but it is still a very good bag.
