My last label maker by Brother lasted 18 years so they are built to with stand hard use this unit has more features and is still compact enough to slip in to a drawer
Love that you can easily plug this into the laptop and create using images, pre-made content and text fonts. Easy to carry around a job site and takes a certain amount of physical abuse being in a construction site. Been using this for a few years and it's still in great shape
The Brother P-Touch PT-D600 label printer gives options for different label widths and print styles. It provides reliable label printing and is priced right for routine office label printing.
I love this model , easy change to vertical , get TZ tape that you fold length wise cause it is so easy to peel off protective paper
works very well through computer application or directly on machine. It takes Tape sizes up to 2" wide.
I'm so glad I bought this model print label machine. It's easy to operate and looks like a miniature typewriter. It comes with a starter roll of tape. I haven't had a chance yet to connect it to my computer but I'll be able to download more fonts and art designs. I'm totally happy with it! Now I can keep everything neatly labeled. I really like this little machine and everything I can create from it. I was bothered by how much tape I waste, 1" before and at the end of my label adds up to wasting a LOT of tape. And the tape cartridges are not inexpensive. After ready WHY this happens, I understand. I love the multiple options and uses.
This is an awesome printer, and very easy to use. Used with the P-Touch editor, the operation is easy and seamless. It has the ability to do chain printing so that no tape is wasted when printing multiple labels; it cuts the labels precisely. I use it exclusively with the PC interface. I had to download a special driver when I 'updated' to WIN11, but the Brother website had everything I needed to get it back up and running.
Loved my PT-D600. It made making custom labels or edited labels from templates easy. However, when I moved to Apple Mac and wanted to move my PT-D600 from the PC to the Mac, I was very disappointed. It's a great label printer but the macOS software doesn't even compare.
Upgraded from Windows 10 64bit to Windows 11 and now my PTD600 Label Printer will not work. I continuously get USB error messages and Brother has done nothing to issue a printer driver specifically for Windows 11.
