I am a first time mom and my little one hasn't entered the world yet so I haven't been able to truelly test out the changing table. So far I have only postive remarks to say. It has a great look and seems to be very sturdy. It did take my husband about 3 hours to put it together, but this was his first experience with baby furniture. :) The drawers glide in and out with no problem. It looks as if I've made a great purchase!
If you're expecting pottery barn, you're going to be dissapointed---but for the price the quality is pretty decent and I am happy with the way it looks and functions. The pad is thin and mine actually tore a hole in the cover already, but i figure a cover or something would help with that. Im very happy---I really enjoy the matte finish of the product--makes it look contemporary.
We have the matching crib, so we decided to order this dresser/changer. The directions weren't great, but the two of us put it together in an hour flat! The changing pad could be better but I don't plan on replacing it. Drawers slide nice and are very large. the dresser matches perfectly!! looks like an expensive item for a great price! Overall I am so happy with this purchase!
I love this dresser, it looks great in my son's nursery. It's very sturdy, the only thing I don't like is that the back cardboard piece isn't painted black, but I have it facing the wall so I guess it's not a big deal. It matches the crib perfectly, I'm very happy with it.
Very easy to assemble. When we were told by family members that it wouldn't be. Watch out when putting the drawers in that you don't scratch the sides. Very sturdy. I have a 5 month old wiggle worm & it's very sturdy.
This dresser/changing table combo is a pretty good buy. It looks great with the matching crib. I was disappointed that the back was particle board since it was nearly $250. It was simple but time-consuming to put together and has a good amount of weight to it. Good purchase overall.
We received the changer very quickly with the site to store shipping method. We got the changer home and one of the larger end panels was defective. An entire row of grommets was broken and split. It was disappointing to have to wait for the new part to be fixed. They shipped it to our home direct, but it has taken two weeks from time of pick up to delivery of the part. We are really anxious to get everything ready for our baby, so this was a downer! Otherwise, both the crib and changer as very nice quality and look fantastic in our nursery.
Very happy with this product. Did not take long to build at all. The drawer wood seems alittle soft, but we dont plan on over loading the drawers. We were looking for a modern look and it goes great in the babies room. Just make sure not to over tighten bolts.
We bought this dresser/changer combo when we bought the matching crib. It is absolutely beautiful and even has matching black screws that hide easily. The only reason I rated this 4/5 stars is because the drawers don't slide in and out as nicely as I had hoped. For the price I expected them to push in with ease. Unless you are pushing in the exact center or are using both hands the drawers won't want to push in. Again, not a huge deal but for the price I would have expected a little bit better quality on the drawers. The rest of the dresser is great and sturdy. We would recommend this product.
This dresser offers tons of storage in our tiny nursery, it looks nice, and it matches with the black sleigh crib we already had. However, it was time consuming (not difficult) to piece together. I think for the money it should be more substantial. It shifts a little when you open the drawers or put something on top (baby's not here yet, so i can't attest to ease of use while changing baby). The drawers are roomy but pretty noisy to open and close. I doubt the finish will hold up long enought to be used once we are done using it as a changer. Maybe it will fit in the closet once we get to that point... For this price I think furniture should be built to last a while, and this just isn't.
