Very sturdy and with the railing on the sides the baby can't move. The padding isnt very thick but it is soft enough for the time the baby is on it. We had the store put it together for free and they did a great job. I love the site to store delivery too.
I love this this dresser, it was easy to assemble and looks great. I came with the mattress pad for the changing table which surprised me! The color was exactly the way it was pictured and matched the crib we had been given.
I really like this changing table. My daughter and I had a nice time putting it together. It is very sturdy. The only thing I found I will probably have to reinforce in the years to come are the bottoms of the drawers. They are adequate for baby items but I don't think they will stand up to larger childrens items for very long. Time will tell. It is certainly perfect for anyone just using it through baby years.
As with any self assemble product it took a little time to get everything perfect, but once completed I have found it stable and spacious!! Great choice for our new twins. Drawers are large enough to accomodate both babies items. As for some of the other reviewers expecting solid wood...Get Real!! If you want solid wood go pay the extra $$. By simply reinforcing all the joint connections with a little wood glue, this item is sure to last far beyond our needs!
This is a great changing table. It is a good height. The drawers are a good size and are pretty sturdy. The changing pad is a weird size, so my mom made changing pad covers out of thick bath towels. I also added some foam squares underneath the pad to give it a litle more cushion since it was so thin. This table is so good, my sister decided to get one for her second child.
I purchased this changing table to go with the Baby Mod - Cadence 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Honey Oak, and they match perfectly! The color is gorgeous, it's actually prettier than in the picture. The changing table was fairly simple to assemble. I'm 7 months pregnant and I did it myself! It is very sturdy and I will feel very safe placing my baby in it. I am 6' tall, and I was a little nervous about having to hunch over to change diapers, but this table is very tall and will be perfect for my husband and myself. The changing pad leaves a little bit to be desired as it is very thin, but that's an easy fix. The drawers are nice and deep and slide easily. I would recommend this changing table to everyone!
As opposed to some other reviews on this product, we found that it went together very easily. All materials were top grade and die cuts fit perfectly. The unit is VERY sturdy and sure to give years of use without being wobbly and will adapt well in an older child's room. If your baby is moving around a lot while being changed you may want to pad the rails. We simply used pool noodles which we cut to size, split them and they fit snuggly on the railings! This piece has the appearance of a finer piece of furniture and an excellent buy for the money.
I am currently 24 weeks pregnant, and put this together by myself in about an hour.. The instructions are perfectly clear and its very easy to do. It is larger then it seems in the pictures! I was honestly thinking I would need to buy a regular dresser to, but there is no need for that at all! I bought it with the Cadence crib because I fell in love with the crib, and read the reviews saying the changing table matched it. The crib is not put together yet, but I opened the box to compare wood colors and its a perfect match. Now I just can't wait until my son is here to use it!
This dresser was easy to put together. My husband and father-in-law put it together in about a half an hour I would say. It seems to be sturdy and will with-stand what we throw at it in the next few years. The bottom of the drawers maybe a little weak but it's not a big deal as it's just baby clothes. I would also like it if the drawers were a little bigger but again it's just holding baby clothes so it will hold a lot of those anyway. The height of the changing table is very good. I'm short and my husband is tall and neither of us have had any problems using this product. I would recommend this product.
I was very excited when I bought this dresser it went together pretty easy and looked great! I've had it for a little over 8 months now and use it all the time, the dresser overall seems pretty sturdy except for the bottoms of the drawers, after about 6 months two of them started to fall out. The piece that holds the pin on the sides keeps coming lose and that's what makes the bottom fall out. I ended up supergluing the piece and its stayed fine so far.
