We finally put it together and looks great along with the changer and the crib. They all arrive within two weeks to the store. The white is more like an off-white but I like it better. Instructions are not super clear, but it's not that difficult to put it togeher anyway. My husband is pretty handy. Drawers open very easy and they are steady. I can't wait to decorate the room.
My wife and I settled on a color, espresso, and starting looking for furniture to match our color theme. We came across this dresser, and the white accent really works well. Its gives it a different look, instead of the same boring thing you see if every imaginable dept store. I would higly recommend this product. Its stylish and the quality is up to par.
It was bigger than I thought, and that was a good thing, a great thing actually! All the baby's clothes fit perfectly and the drawers work just fine. It could also work as a changer. It looks very elegant but chic and modern at the same time, I have both the crib the dresser and they are very out of the ordinary; I've received many compliments!!
This matches perfectly with the Roxanne crib. From the time I placed the order online, it took about 2 weeks for delivery (by Site to Store delivery). Assembly took about an hour. Pieces fit together well, and drawers slide smoothly. We were surprised to see that most parts are wood, not particle board. However, since it is just pine, it is still easily dented. Now the baby has more than enough storage for all his clothes and goodies.
This really is a nice dresser for the price paid...looks like it is worth a lot more. The pieces seem very solid. The drawers have wood on all three sides except the bottom piece. It is a nice espresso finish on the drawers. It took me about 2 hours to put together though...probably would have been quicker with someone more handy with tools though. Like I didn't see good instructions to put an extra piece in the other side of these certain screws to secure them ...so I stood up the dresser and both sides fell off! but then I figured it out..except the instructions don't tell you how to put them on and tighten them--so still confusing but the dresser stands nicely now...It holds a lot of stuff. They are very nice and roomy drawers. It is great for my sons small room where he can't fit a 6 drawer but I want ample storage and I love that I can put nick nacks on top. It is lovely..Oh yeah and as you can see in the picture there is a small bar that goes across each side of the dresser--on the lower part of each side...well it was already off in the box and I tried to screw it back in but the hole was warped then so it wouldn't stay in. I still haven't tried cus it is against the wall but I guess some wood glue would keep it in. Other than that came without scratches or marks. I got it site to store and it came in the time stated--about 10-11 days. The tracking was awful though --it didn't show any info.
We bought the dresser along with the crib and changer in this collection and we are extremely pleased with all 3 pieces. In my case it took about 2 months to receive the dresser but it looks like from reading the other reviews that may have been an unusually long amount of time. Anyway, order early to be safe if you want your nursery to be done before baby comes! The drawers are sturdy and glide easily and give you plenty of storage for baby's things. There was one small dent on the front of our dresser but the paint is not chipped and it is not noticeable. We already have 7 children so we are realistic enough to know that things don't stay perfect for more than 5 minutes! Anyway, I love this entire collection and would recommend it to anybody who wants their nursery to be different, warm, unique and peaceful.
We purchased this dresser to match the crib we purchased second-hand. The colors matched perfectly. The dresser arrived quicker than anticipated. There were no missing parts and my husband put it together with no problems.
We got this dresser and the crib and the diaper changing table for our baby's room. at first we were just going to get the crib and the changing table. but we ended up getting the dresser too, 'coz it's really hard to find matching furniture these days and there's just so much other things to prepare for the childbirth than to look for additional pieces of furniture for the baby's room. We chose the site-to-store option. it's really easy and saves a lot on shipping. the packaging for all three pieces of furniture was able to fit in our SUV. the assembly was not that complicately, although you have to follow the instructions step by step. (read all the instructions b4 hand) Overall, we like this set. it works for both boys and girls.
This dresser is so lovely. Keep in mind, though, that it is only $200 so you must be willing to accept flaws. Ours came with a small dent in the front of the side panel - not a huge deal. Also, it is sturdy until you try to move it. When moved, the cam lock fell off. Once put back on and locked - it was sturdy again. Drawers are deep and slide nicely. Color is true ivory and true espresso - would be easy to mix and match with other collections, I think. Also, fits a changing pad on top if you are not purchasing the other dresser as well.
I have had this product since September 2008, a few months before my daughter was born. I loved it at first, it went perfect with her room decor. Now my daughter is 14 months and the dresser has not held up, the drawers never stay on track and fall down everytime you touch it. I would have originally said it was a good purchase but now I am kind of disapointed because it makes her room look bad. Now we are searching for a new set ALREADY!
