We were extremely suprised at how sturdy this dresser is!! My husband and I put it together. It took us awhile to do (we split it up over 2 nights) but it was fun to work on it and spend time together for our baby. Once it as all together i couldt believe how beautiful it was!! Graco makes great products but for the price I was nervous. This dresser will last a long time for sure!
This looks great once you put it together. The only thing is make sure you have a little handy drill. It has tons of screws but I am 9 months pregnant and put it together by myself.
THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY!! IT SEEMS MUCH MORE STURDY THAN MY SONS STORCRAFT ASPEN BABY FURNITURE.
I bought this dresser to go with my Jenny Lind crib. I bought them both in Cherry and they match beautifully. The dresser did not take to long to put together, a couple of hours. It did have unmarked pieces and the directions were a little confusing at times, but I was able to get it together at 8 months pregnant, with a little help from future Grandpa. I recommend this product.
I was a little disappointed with the color. It was not as dark as I had hoped which is why I purchased it. It is a nice cherry color. I had to order more drawers because the wood was cracked. It came with SEVERAL screws. Please read and follow directions. The end result was worth it.
We never actually assembled this dresser, so I have no idea about the quality. In fact it never came out of the box. The second I saw one piece of it I wrapped it back up to take back to the store. The wood color is nothing like the picture on the internet. The "cherry" color is stained very red, not a dark brown with red tent like we thought. I'm sure the dresser itself is wonderful once assembled and if someone wanted a red piece of furniture... but it just wasn't what we expected and should have looked at it in person before we ordered (although it wasn't available in stores).
The first time I ordered this product I was excited until I laided out all the pieces. The front panel on the right side was split all the way down, so i returned it the next day. I thought maybe if i reordered the dresser then maybe it would be what i expected. But no the same side was split down the front, a chunk of the left front panel was missing, and one of the drawer front panels was chipped. Total piece of junk not worth the time or effort. Now i have to make another trip to Walmart to return a piece of junk. Either it was the shipping or just poorly made furniture....I would never by furniture from walmart online again!!!!!
I think this was everything I expected it to be. The veneer peeled off in 4-5 different placed during assembly. Screws did not really hold in place vry well due to the fiberboard material. I had very low expectations for the quality of the product and the one thing that I was reaaly worried about was not getting all the pieces shipped correctly or undamaged. We ended up with two of the drawer sides that were drilled out incorrectly and are currently going through the process of trying to identify the part which is needed since the left and right side of the drawers are labelled the same on the manual but different on the part. Of course we through the box away after we completed the assembly (Exept two drawers), Now the company needs a number from that box to ship the correct part. For the money we paid I guess it is what I expect. If I paid for an actual wood dresser I would be more upset, but would not expect to have quality issues anyways. The product will serve it's purpose, just don't expect high quality.
I thought I found a great bargain when I saw this online. I waited 3 weeks and when it came in it was broken! I ordered anoher one and 2 weeks later....that one was broken too! Graco has very poor packaging. This item is of poor quality and scrathes very easily. Spend a lttle more and buy something decent.
I purchased this and the Kimberly 5 drawer dresser, and they both arrived damaged, with parts assembled incorrectly, making it impossible to fully assemble the furniture. It is made of such poor quality materials; the “wood” split with many of the screws. The design doesn’t allow for the pieces to fit snugly and securely so the entire piece was wobbly. It took about 4 hours to get each one almost put together. The customer service was horrible. They have limited hours, and require you to leave a voicemail message or email, and say they will get back to you within 24 hours, but it took us almost a week to talk to someone. This is only after we called a general number and insisted on talking to someone. We had about 5 pieces that we needed replaced, and they said it would take about two weeks. We have had this partially assembled for almost a month, and after all this I am so disgusted with the quality of product and service that I am bringing it back and finding something new. Unless you can physically see this before you buy it, I would save the time and money and get something from a different manufacture.
