This dresser is very well made. I am a woman and put this piece together with no problems! Previous reviews said there were holes that were not drilled out in places there should be....you are supposed to screw into the wood! Another review said that it's 36" high... it's 47.5" high. This is a very heavy, sturdy, and well made piece of furniture. You will not be disappointed!
I love this dresser. It is very beautiful and it matches my crib perfectly. The only problems I had was putting it together. The instructions were so hard to read. And When putting it together it doesn't have holes driller for all the screws. This made it difficult to put together by myself. It took me about 3 to 4 hours total. But like i said it is very pretty. And It seems to be good quality.
Love this dresser and the whole collection. Assembly above average on the skill side, but not bad. This is very well made and much more hefty than some other furniture I have assembled.
The first dresser that we got had crooked dowels so the whole dresser was crooked not allowing the drawers to be flush. We had to call for a replacement but got one right away. The new dresser had damage on the draw but we were able to use a drawer from the first dresser. Overall, I'd say it's a good buy for the money but keep in mind how much it cost as it's not a high dollar piece of furniture so don't expect that. It's perfect for a toddler who is going to destroy it anyway.
We bought this to match the graco lauren crib and kimberly combo unit. Site to store was great and fast! It was somewhat complicated to put together, but worth it for the price. My husband had it finished in a couple of hours. There were a few knicks on the wood, but nothing that would make me return it. It would happen with normal wear and tear anyway. Very pleased overall! And it's the perfect size in my opinion.
It looks very nice once put together. But getting it put together was not easy. It took my fiance and our friend about 5 hours to get together. The pieces just wouldn't fit right. And now that it is together it scratches very easily. For the money though it is nice looking. We just have to cover the scratches with a photo frame and our daughter's piggy bank. I would recommend this if you're not looking to spend a whole lot and don't mind the hassle it is to put together but that's the only way.
This dresser is not easy to put together to say the least. My friend bought one and it took them almost two days to put together. Some of our parts don't fit, so we can't go any further in putting it together because what we put together keeps coming back apart! The cam locks won't stay in the holes and the whole thing is not sturdy. Waste of our time and money! Especially if we have to pay to ship it back!
It is a sturdy product. It took about 4 hrs for my husband to put this chest together and we were excited to see it come together, but in the end none of the drawers were aligned well....with the time we put into it we didn't want to take a chance with another piece so we just gave it back to Walmart. All in all, it was a waste of our time.
I've assemble several pieces of furniture and this dresser is by far the worst. I had doubts when putting it together about how sturdy it would be and they were well founded. The drawer fronts were poorly packaged and one came with dings in it. In another piece, the holes for the cam locks were too big and they would not tighten. The plastic pieces that are supposed to hold the rods easily slipped out so it was difficult to get anything tight. Once assembled the top drawer rubbed at the top, most of the drawers didn't shut completely, and half did not run smoothly in the tracks like they should. This was not all that difficult to put together, but in my opinion, poorly designed. If you are looking for a quality dresser do not buy this one.
This product is so no worth the money. Way too many pieces and many of the parts were damaged along with missing holes to screw in screws. We returned this product back to Walmart after 3.5 agonizing hours of trying to get this piece together. I would not recommend this product
