We bought this for our daughters nursery and we love it! Could not believe how sturdy and beautiful the furniture is! I put this together without my husbands help (pretty impressive for me!! I'm also 29 weeks pregnant!) Took me about an hour and a half! Only downside is the knobs drawers were not drilled correctly so the knobs fell off when trying to open the drawers! All I did was put some hot glue onto the screw and into the hole in the knob and problem was fixed! AMAZING product for the price!!!
It was very simple to put together. It took about an hour, maybe two hours to put together but I took my time and read all directions. The dresser looks so good - better than I expected. I would buy this again if I had to. My due date is January 25th so I haven't actually used it yet but the drawers work fine.
I was a little worried ordering this since another reviewer stated it was smaller than they had expected. I wanted to use it as a changing table in baby's nursery and after getting it all put together, it is the absolute perfect size! And my word, is it heavy!! The pictures on here don't do it justice. It looks MUCH smaller online than it actually is. I would advise to go by the measurements provided to get an accurate representation of how big this thing actually is. Another thing I had worried about was the size of the changing pad since someone else said they had to order a custom size. We had already purchased a standard size changing pad (I think they are all the same size) and it fits wonderfully. We also have the Baby Mod Cadence 4-in-1 crib, which I was concerned with matching. But they look beautiful in the same room! The instructions can be a bit daunting, (it took me 3.5 hours to put together), as there is no real written guidance, mainly just pictures. But i figured it out and I'm so happy with it!
I was skeptical about purchasing this dresser, but it is a great product. I had it delivered to the store so they could put it together.
Looks like a more expensive product. Drawers are not super sturdy- but the dresser overall is sturdy and works well as a changing table. I had to order a changing pad that was a hard to find small, non-standard size- but totally worth that extra step. The dresser/changing table looks good with the really beautiful matching crib. The dark color is a nice contrast with our yellow walls and bright colors for our baby boy's room.
We were not expecting this dresser to be partially pressed wood, because of the price of it. A few of the holes that were pre-drilled for the cam-locks split the wood of the drawer sides. We were able to put it together without having to request a new one, just hope it doesn't bust later! There were a few spots that looked like they had been colored over with a permanent black marker, but we were lucking to have those in a spot that wasn't visible all the time. The dresser is very sturdy. We bought it with the intentions of using it as a changing table but our changing pad was just a little too long for it. We had also bought the longer dresser and are using that for the changing table and it will work out a lot better anyways because of having space on the top for the wipes...etc.
Very nice looking, sturdy. I am happy with this purchase. But the directions are not the best. My husband and I are the king and queen of put together furniture. The directions r off on the holes also some of the pieces are cracked for drawers. My husband is fixing with gorilla glue, hope it works, didn't want to wait for replacement parts. All and all happy with purchase.
I was so excited to receive this dresser for my baby's room. Unfortunately, the directions were actually backwards and were saying things were in a certain spot--but they were opposite. I had my mom, and sisters help so we were able to work together to assemble the dresser the way it was suppose to be. The back is very flimsy, but the end result looks pretty in the room. If you go by looks its worth the money, but if you go by quality, it should have been a little cheaper. I'm satisfied, but not 100%. I give it a B, looks pretty but some parts are cheap and the directions were horrible.
I just finished putting this together and we haven't used it since the baby is still a couple months away. My wife bought this on sale so I'm not sure what she paid. Currently it's listed for $200; if she paid this much then I'd be even less satisfied. The dresser required about an hour and a half to assemble. I highly recommend a power drill/screwdriver since there are 88 screws involved. Most of the pilot holes are in the right place. Although mostly pressed wood, it is heavy. It looks nice and once assembled I realized the drawers don't slide smoothly. They aren't aligned properly, probably due to the high tolerances and pilot holes not being in the right place, allowing the tracks that the drawers roll on to be slightly off. This causes drawers not to be properly centered in the dresser and rubs one one side or the other when closing. For something that we plan on using briefly for a few infants, I'm sure it'll hold up. It's not something that's going to be passed on to my grandchildren, nor would I expect it to hold up well during a move. I've assembled my fair share of furniture from Ikea and I would consider this slightly behind in quality and assembly instructions.
This dresser is terrible. I'm very disappointed. I had good luck with the last dresser I got on walmart.com and this one had 4 stars and pretty good reviews plus the description said real wood. It's real compressed wood! Tons of pieces very annoying to put together and it looks fine but as soon as you open a drawer you can tell it's cheap so I have no idea why I paid 200 for this.
