I ordered this to complete my babies room. My husband had no problem putting it together. All of the parts were there and except for a few minor scratches the piece looks flawless. It is a very thick and durable dresser. I plan for my little one to use it until she goes off to college.
I bought this dresser to match the Graco Stanton classic cherry crib in my daughters room. The dresser looks really nice with her crib and the dresser's quality is great- It is sturdy, the drawers glide in and out smoothly and the cupboard gives us extra storage for books! My husband and I put this together in a hour and a half. The assembly was easy (It has a lot of parts, though). I recieved the dresser earlier than expected. The box it was shipped in had no damage, the dresser had no damage and it came with all pieces! Great product! Great delivery!
We got the graco freeport crib in classic cherry and wanted a dresser/changing table to match. Was delighted to find a dresser in the same color and purchased it. It's a beautiful solid wood piece except for the back and drawer pieces. Dresser had no scratches/defects (site to store), however the only twinge I have about this piece is that the color is lighter and doesn't match the crib. I'm pretty sure it's due to the type of wood absorbing more or less stain, but the crib looks almost a maroon red and the dresser about 2 shades lighter. I'm not too bothered about it because I love the piece but can see how some would get frustrated over the mismatched colors.
We love the way this combo dresser looks. Was not hard to assemble at all. My husband and I did it in a couple of hours, taking our time. My only real issue is that the tracks that the drawers sit on were bent so the drawers don't slide well at all - one of them you really have to force to open. I don't want to waste time exchanging it because we'd have to put the whole thing together again and it's not that bad. We have decided we are going to make it work because the piece really is beautiful and will serve well as a changing table once the little one arrives and we'll have this piece for a very long time.
The Graco Portland 3 drawer combo dresser was a perfect addition to our nursery. Beautiful finish, fairly easy assembly (although time consuming), and ample storage. It also functions well as a changing table (rather than buying a separate changing table that you can only use until the baby is 25 lbs). It will be something our baby can use for many years. Would purchase this again and recommend to friends.
color is a little more red and lighter than the cherry color for Graco cribs. However, I was impressed by the quality of the wood used. I think its very sturdy and looking forward to use it for years to come.
Very disappointing product. My boyfriend and I purchased the Graco Freeport 3 in 1 crib in classic cherry. It was beautiful. No damage, not a scratch on the entire product. Made of sturdy wood. So, we decided to buy the Graco combo dresser to match with it. Huge mistake. As soon as we opened it, just on the top layer of materials, there was huge chips of paint and the top pieces were already completely snapped in half. I posted 2 pictures of the broken pieces. The wood looks nice and matches perfectly to our crib. We're just disappointed to have wasted our time. Now, we have to take it back to Walmart, get a refund, and re-order it online in hopes of getting a non-damaged product next time.
all my boxes can in damages so I was afraid that the furniture had gotten scratched, it didn't due to that, but! the wood quailty is not good there are areas that look shiney and others that dont, there were areas that the stain was not applied and also the over hang on the top was broke, there are 3 tiny nails and wood glue that was suppose to hold it, IT DIDN"T. the cam lock system used to put it together was cheap and broke had to go buy more cam locks, and the drawers just do not fit together as I would have expected.
The item arrived completely broken. We returned to the Walmart store for a complete refund. The item was very cheaply made and not worth how much we paid for it. Very disappointed!
ordered the dresser, did ship to store. took 45 minutes to load the box into the car, because me being pregnant i could not load the 120 LB box myself. got the box home, put it together. there was damage to surface of the wood, there was damage to the sides of the drawers, and they did not include the correct number of peices. So i contacted LaJobi, said i have a half built dress, sent pictures, sent discriptions. and they said " Thank you for contacting Lajobi. I do apologize for the condition of your dresser. The dresser must be returned to the place of purchase for a replacement dresser. The dresser does need many parts so it must be returned to the place of purchase" SO now I have take it apart, so i can get it into the car and return it.
