i got the product within the estimated time. it was not difficult to assemble but takes a little time. i recommend at leat 2 people to do the job. the drawers slide easily. i noticed that one drawer did not fit that well and was, therefore, hard to open or close, but this was remedied by slight hammering on the hardware on the side. overall, i think I got a good product for the price i paid.
I purchased this chest to go in my daughters' bedroom. It is very cute and just what I had been looking for. I shopped quite a bit to find a five drawer chest that also had metal rails. The chest came packed extremely well, nothing was broken or missing. The directions were easy to follow for the most part; assembly took several hours. I broke several of the cam locks used to put the drawers together, however. It took about 2 weeks to get the parts I needed, but everything worked out okay. The drawer size is good and the 2 girls should be able to share the chest with no problem. The only down side was that one of the sides had some peeling/chipping paint, but I am not worried about it since that side isn't visible. I am thoroughly pleased with the chest.
Good points: attractive design, doesn't look "cheap", a nice amount of storage room. Bad points: the paint is peeling, the paint has a VERY strong odor, there is one pre-installed track (on which the drawer slides in) which has a right-sided track on it instead of the necessary left-sided track. Consequently, we can't use that drawer until the company sends us a left-sided track. We are still waiting to hear from the company about this.
i ordered this dresser twice..... both times I opened it up and the paint was just peeling off. I returned them both now i'm afraid to order another one let alone having to wait again.
We were disappointed in the quality of this product. I think overall, it is going to meet our needs, but one of the sides has significant paint chipping that we will be re-painting ourselves. The drawers also have a very strong smell coming from them. We have had them open for a couple days now trying to air them out and have washed them out a couple times as well. It is going to hold a lot of baby stuff and will be able to grow with our child, but the quality of this item was disappointing.
Very dissappointed in the quality of this dresser not only did the frame arrive broken but paint is peeling off the sides. Graco sent out a new frame which arrived in a week but did nothing about the paint issue as they said that this model is discontinued. (I bought this a couple months ago). Luckly where I have the dresser located sides are not noticeable so I kept the dresser since I needed something for my babies clothes.
Both sides of the dresser have significant paint chipping. It also took FOREVER to put together. Wouldn't recommend.
I read the reviews with people saying it took forever to put together and paint chipped and the drawers were faulty. I chose to ignore and get anyway. The dresser does look great. It seems very sturdy. We didn't have any paint chipped, and we didn't mind the 2 hours it took my husband to put it together. But there is one drawer almost not useable and another one that is bent. It doesn't matter how nice it looks (and it does) if the dresser loses the functionality to be used. Don't be fooled by the look of it. Buy something that can actually be used. I bought this for my 1 year old daughter to have furniture that would grow with her. Now I will have to replace it with something that works.
