Love this dresser. We ordered the charleston crib and the changing table that matches the dresser also; sadly, those 2 had scratches and cracked wood. However this dresser was/is perfect! Nice rich cherry color. I like the fact that the drawers have middle support beams underneath; so it may last longer than I thought!
We purchased this with a bundle walmart.com had advertised about a month ago that included the Graco Ashleigh covertible bed, 3 chest drawer and the Serta Perfect Slumber mattress. My husband enjoys working with wood and putting things like this together so he had no problems with the assembly. He was very pleased with how all the pieces were packed with care including the hardware that came with it. Neatly packaged. This is a very nice drawer and it is very high quality wood. Not that cheap particleboard stuff. I can see our son using this drawer for at least 10 years or so. Very durable and heavy!! It looks great in the nursery with the other matching pieces. It was worth our hard earned money!! The site to store went with no hassles and we saved money in shipping. I would definately make a big purchase like this again from walmart.com...oh yeah! Our items arrived much sooner than expected too!!
This dresser was purchased to match the Graco Charleston crib, which it does match perfectly. The assembly was a bit of a pain, but hey your building a dresser a little more complicated than a crib. I did not have a problem with anything as far as pieces breaking and everything looked sharp till I went to install the final drawer. It came with two right sided brackets that hold the drawer in. I called LaJobi (they manufacture it) and they are sending the correct bracket out and were very polite on the phone. So overall looks great in the nursery and customer service was great for me.
The dresser is very sturdy, and wasn't too difficult to put together. It's a nice piece of furniture, especially for the price. However, I bought the Graco Victoria crib in cherry to go with it and the colors are WAY off. It states in the description that the Victoria collection is included with this, but the color of this dresser is very dark. I wouldn't call it cherry, it's more like an expresso. I was so aggravated after seeing the color after it was assembled I seriously considered returning it for a white one.
My husband and I debated about whether or not we wanted to order this piece but, after deciding to do so, we were pleased that we did. We pared this piece with the Graco Combo Dresser 3 and the Graco Charleston 4 in 1 crib, all of which were purchased at Walmart.com. This piece looked as good in person as it did online and it really turned out to be the cherry on top of our nursery furniture sundae! The chest is sturdy and provides plenty of storage for clothing and blankets and we even used the top of it to put a TV on. The only constructive criticism I can offer is that the drawers are somewhat difficult to put together because the hardware pieces are so small. Also, the drawers feel a little flimsy when you open and close them but nothing you probably can't live with. We love this piece and would highly recommend it!
This is my first purchase on walmart.com. I purchased two different sets of furniture, one was a crib and the other was a drawer. Me and my wife where very pleased with the crib and the look of the wood. But with the drawer not so happy because in the shipping it got a little banged up. There where some dings on the front of three of the drawers. It didn't look bad but my wife wanted to return it. But I convinced her not to because if we did return it for another one we where taking a chance that it would come out the same or possibly worse. I told her it would be fine and it added a little bit of character to the drawer. So after some thought and pondering she decided to keep it, but was still not hundred percent pleased with the dresser. But the crib was perfect and that helped calm her nerves. Happy with the product but might think twice about buying furniture online again.
Rich color. Goes well with the Graco Sarah crib. Dresser had a stink for a few days after assembly, but the odour decreases. Not very sturdy though looks very rich. Walmart always forgets some nut or bolt! Mine had a broken part but was not a show stopper.
We ordered this dresser while I was pregnant with my daughter for her nursery. This product came in a box that looked like it had been dragged through the street several times. I knew before even opening the box that there would be damage. Sure enough I was right. There were several broken pieces. We were able to put it together because I was due to deliver the next day, but I am definitely not going to be ordering anymore furniture products from Wal-Mart.com
It took us over 2 hours to put this item together. Horrible quality and not worth $225. Scratches on the top and side panels. Wood was chipped, 4 out of 5 drawer covers were damaged, chipped paint around drawer edges. We had to use our table saw to fix 2 out of 5 drawers bottom rails to actually make it fit (see photos attached). Also, cam locks kept breaking during our installation. We are so disappointed with this furniture piece, ended up taking everything apart at the end and just returned it to Wal-Mart (thank you Wal-Mart). We like Graco products, almost all of our nursery items are made by Graco but this was a real disappointment.
Don't bother. Very poor quality. I've assembled several different pieces of furniture for our nursery and this one was terrible. Poorly drilled holes, bent and mangled hardware. Also parts were poorly labeled. You can do much better for the money.
