I ordered this dresser online. It matched my daughter's crib. It was shipped out to me rather quickly, just three days, that was great. My husband opened the box and took all the pieces out, it seemed like a lot, but it wasn't hard at all to put them together. The directions were easy to follow and didn't take long to assemble, just a few hours for me and I am slower then most. Once my husband and I got it up and in its place, it looked great. It is nice and sturdy and a great piece to any nursery.
I was leery about buying this product because I saw bad reviews, however it surpassed my expectations. It is great quality for the price. I bought another dresser at an expensive furniture store for twice the amount and that one does not compare in quality. The drawers to the graco dresser are much more sturdy and the finish matches my graco crib perfectly. In reference to an older post about the holes not matching up, this part is tricky. There is no specification in the assembly directions, but the bottoms only line up correctly one way and you have to be sure that screws are in the gliders the entire way for smooth opening. Other than that, assembly was a breeze.
Assembly took our son-in-law about 3 hours, luckily he is very patient. We like the look of it, it was just as pictured.
This dresser is nice for the price. It looks great in the nursery. As other reviewers have said it takes a bit of time to put together but had no issues putting it together.
This is a $149 dresser so I didn't expect the quality of something that I spent several hundred dollars for. If you're looking for a nice, high quality wooden dresser then this is not for you. However, it was delivered in good condition and was easy to put together. It's sturdy and looks nice with the matching crib and changing table. The drawers are small and don't all align perfectly and the finish is flimsy and likely won't last too long. There are some chips in the paint from assembly. However, I just needed a starter dresser for my nursery so it's just what I needed. Overall, I'm satisfied
It took 5 hours to put together. I believe the directions said an hour but NO WAY! The drawers did not fit where they were supposed to although they all fit somewhere and it was nice enough looking when it was finished. I bought it as a gift from a registry for someone and they were happy with it. I would not buy it for myself.
drawers were slanted, had different size gaps, and the drawers would not shut all the way. The pre-drilled holes were placed incorrectly. The bottom of the drawers are anything but sturdy. You would have to use extreme caution overtime you shut them (so if your toddler decides to open and shut the drawers, the dresser will not last long). DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, buy something else. I bought a Graco crib and did not have this problem. I guess you get what you pay for.....
I was so happy when I found this dresser because it matched my daughter's crib and I thought the price was reasonable but when my husband and I started putting it together the "wood" was so cheap that it was breaking when we tried to put the screws in...needless to say, we stopped, put it all back in the box and returned it to the store for a refund.
I bought this dresser after buying two graco cribs and a changing table in classic cherry. I was very happy with those graco products but very disapointed in this dresser. When we got the dresser home and my husband went to put it together there we a few deep scraches on the top that couldnt be ignored. I was hoping this would complete my twins bedroom but looks like i will be buying another dresser.
Beautiful dresser, matches the crib beautifully... However, it takes a lot of time to assemble. So if you want to spend half a day putting together a dresser then go ahead and buy this one. If not, I would choose something else. The crib was so simple to put together, so when I got this and discovered how long it took, I was highly disappointed.
