Buddy if you’re here looking for an American Crew maximum hold and shine replacement: You just found it with this product. It’s way cheaper and the texture it’s just the same (if you’re very into these products like me you know what I’m talking about.) don’t hesitate and buy it. 9/10 (the -1 it’s because is not as shiny as the American Crew’s)
You will receive a great pomade, that washes easily with water and an almost perfect hold that lasts. The fragrance is mild, but pleasant. The customer service is unmatchaed and, to me, that speaks volumes about this company. Try this now at this price, because I can guarantee this product will be a hit.
I've almost exclusively used Suavecito pomade for the last 2+ years, but thought I'd give this stuff a try purely for the fact that it was $3 cheaper at the time of purchase. I can definitely say I am glad I gave it a shot. The look and smell are nearly identical to Suavecito, but I prefer the hold of Viking. The pomade feels easier to work with and it doesn't leave as much of a wet/shiny look to it. I think I'll be sticking with Viking going forward.

Amazing product! Worked great on my hair. I bought this about a month ago and I've used it everyday. I have thick hair so its hard for me to slick my hair straight back without it curling. With this product I use an amount the size of a quarter or less and it holds fresh all day. Straight back. This product is great!!!! Try this.
Great Customer Service! Made sure I was happy! For the PRICE, definitely give it a try!The hold is not thick and crusty like some reviews I read. You can definitely can use more or less to control how strong or light of a hold. Smells nice and washes out easy. Most hair products give me really bad dandruff, but this product has not. I have thick hair and normally use about a nickel sized dollop with other products. This one I use about a quarter sized.
Holds well and smells good.
Purchased directly from Viking Revolution initially, however appeared as though formula had changed...very firm and no smell. Luckily I was able to retrieve an older batch from Willow Living that met my satisfaction. Bought several jars that should last for a while and give me time to search for new product. Thank you Willow Living!!!
***** Update 7/11/2019 *****Now that I've been using this daily for several months, I ended up liking this now that I've accepted this really is a gel and figured out the best way to apply it. First, take about maybe a 1/2 teaspoon or a little more and apply it to dry hair. Then I wet my hands (but don't wash them yet) and run them through my hair and shape it, letting the waves come back after the dry application. Then let it dry. And then as long as I don't play with my hair too much, it holds all day.Now the funny thing is it washes easily out of my hair but getting it off my hands, that's not so easy. There's a film that is really difficult to wash off.But I would recommend this.***** Original Review *****This is disappointing. Despite all the reviews saying this has a strong hold, it is really quite weak. Although it looks like a pomade and goes on like a pomade, it really is a gel. It stiffens and gets crunchy as it dries. If you touch your hair during the day, it will crunch and then lose its hold.I was running out of my Reuzel Blue and thought I'd try another, less expensive brand. While the Reuzel is also kinda gel-like, its hold is much stronger (and also tougher to apply). But once it is in your hair, it holds pretty well. I was hoping for a similar experience with this pomade, for half the price.So I found if I use a LOT of this one like more than a teaspoon, the hold will last all day if I'm careful not to touch my hair. Since I have to use so much, I'm not sure if this is a bargain. btw, for reference, my hair is about 3-4 inches on top and medium thickness - not fine but not wires.
Likes: fantastic price, great hold, easy to clean, loved that its basically clear instead of the white-pasty pomade you get at a grocery store. Dislikes: it feels like hair gel---not pomade, it smells more like chemicals rather than beeswax or a natural product
