These containers are high-quality, durable, and dishwashable, but what really makes them so smart is their size and shape. Besides being stackable, they're just the right depth for a pantry shelf, so everything is visible at once. Nothing gets lost in the back, and you can easily tell what you're running low on - they even have unobtrusive graduation marks on the ends, so you can see how much you have. Plus, they're wide enough for a measuring cup. These containers are only very slightly tapered, which maximizes storage volume, but also means they don't really nest when empty. Since they're made for long-term storage, this makes sense. They aren't meant to sit around empty. I'm using the largest containers for my bulk pasta, and the smallest ones are great for a bag or two of dry beans. The set of four is a great start, after which I decided to buy some more individually based on what I still needed to store. I think I'll be using these for a long time. I love them!
I absolutely adore my 8 piece dry food canisters. I live in a very small one bedroom apartment and with it comes a very small pantry. When I discovered Rubbermaid canisters I was so relieved. These handy containers not only make it easy to store all my dry goods but they stack and store so neatly. The lids are awesome too because each lid is the same size...so they all fit every piece. No searching for the right sized lid!! With these canisters I was able to store more food in a smaller space, leaving room for other foods as well. I highly recommend these as they can be used for just about any room in your home. I absolutely could not make it without them :)
I was able to store items, I never thought I could, also My new Dog his dog food, I even ordered a second set, more than worth the price, Rubbermaid is a strong product Thank You so much for helping me afford!
We bought some of these for organizing and just love them. We wanted more and we can't find them anywhere just like others. Please consider making them available again
I absolutely love this set of modular canisters! I had shopped around and looked for the right set for months until I found these. The lids are a tight seal. You can see the contents really well the look great in my pantry as well as on my counter. I added lettering labels of my own and voila'! I purchased 3 sets in all. I highly recommend this item for purchase.
Just received my modular canister set and you should see the before and after picture! Don't know why I didn't organize my cupboards sooner. Cereals, oats, chocolate chips, raisins, etc.! All fit perfectly and of course my cupboard looks great!
I bought a set a few years ago and totally fell in love with them! I bought 2 more sets and extra 5-cup and 16-cup canisters. In all, I have a set of 25 and need more of them. They are perfect for organizing my baking and decorating supplies. My only wish is that they come in wider and longer sizes for larger items. The heights are perfect. I am very disappointed that they are getting more and more difficult to find.
I purchased two of these sets recently to store various goods in my kitchen. The plastic was of very good quality. I like the variety of the sizes, and I had a lot more flexibility in storage because of it. Not all of my use is in bulk goods, but the smaller sizes certainly work well for oatmeal and rice.
Ordered from Marketplace seller, Life and Home, and they sent quickly and packaged well. Love the 5 cup canisters because they come in super handy when downsizing from the larger ones as the contents are used up and they stack well when having only a little bit more room to stack another.
Nearly all of our Easy Find Lids have cracked or the tabs have broken off. The containers discolored quickly and now the edges are breaking off at the corners. These did not hold up as expected and if you try buying the newer sets the red lids are lighter color or you get the aqua color the lids often do not snap on to the older dark red containers which held up better. Loved these organizers but too many failing early than they should for a Rubbermaid product.
