We use these bins for everything! To wash the cars with ease, soaking dirty dishes while camping, giving the puppy a bath and many more uses! The problem is that they are unable to be found in any spot in the world. Are y'all ever going to sell these bins again? They are sleek, modern, easy to clean and they look fabulous all the time. I will buy a dozen once I find them again. Wish me luck.
I'm having fits trying to track this Rubbermaid Dishpan down BUT I'm sooo happy that I tried your site. I bought this one that I'm replacing in 2002 at Bed Bath &Beyond...Does this have STAYING POWER!!!!!Yessss LOL
We needed a sink buck that would fit in our antique porcelain sink (it's small). This is the only thing we found that fit perfectly. The drain in the bottom is great. It really has a good seal but is easy to unplug for neat and easy draining. Ours mysteriously cracked after 3 years, so we need a new one. I'm so glad I've identified it here! It's a bit larger at the top than the bottom. It also has handles and looks so much nicer than those chepo looking plain basins.
I love this dishpan. It is so convenient to use, especially with the plug. the only problem I have had is I lost the plug and cannot find another one. Hold on to that plug!!
I thought my counter was wet, until I realized the dishpan was leaking. If you have a replacement plug please let me know how to get it. Otherwise, I just wasted my money. The plug connection is too shallow and the plug is too flat; needs better design.
I originally had one of these that did not have a drain, I loved it! It was the best I ever owned. I needed to replace it because a carelessly tossed steak knife cause a hole. I ordered one in 2009 and it came with the drain which leaked and was so easily opened that the slightest touch would open it and drain the dishwater. I so wish this dishpan could be offered again without the drain, I would buy 2 right away. The size and shape are perfect but the product is rendered useless by the drain.
