I use this for making Kombucha and its perfect. I really like the large 2.5 gallon size.
Bought 3. 1 for sugar. 1 for wheat flower. 1 for white bread flower. I love to cook and these made it easer
Brought this jar to put my rice in. This jar can hold a lot of rice love it. The only downside is it is very expensive to afford they need to come down off the price a little bit but still love it.
It's heavy but very good quality
I bought these giant jars for putting my cat and dog food kibble in, because I wanted to switch away from plastic and needed something big enough to hold their dry food. I absolutely love this jar and it looks so good in the pet food cupboard, that I want to remove the doors. My young cat can open the cupboard doors anyway, so I don't really need them! Also, I needed something that he couldn't open and make it possible for the 5 of them to free range eat. And, I wanted something that keeps the food sealed and fresher longer. The lid on this canister offers a rather good seal, you can feel the pressure as you use it. I bought 2 of these canisters, one for the cats' food and one for the dog's food. I like the stainless steel lid better, the other has the black lid, but I would have preferred the stainless steel...other then that, they are perfection!! :)
I have been buying these for years. I have purchased nine. I keep beans, sugar, coffee, corn meal, and flour in mine.
Great price for the size and quality of this product. The lid allows the container to be sealed and gives a bit of resistance when you putting it on or taking it off to let you know its working. Looks very stylish and modern.
Hsppy to buy this but the lid is loose. The plastic / rubber ring is larger than the “body” of the lid so it sits at the bottom, hence useless. The lid of the 2 gallon which I purchased also is much better.
I purchased 3 jars and 1 had a giant crack it in.
This jar is not air tight. I plan to return it. The seal is not what I expected.
