I started out with a regular tub, which my son hated. He didn't fit in it and I had to hold him the whole time. When I seen this one with a sling in it, I thought I'd try it. Now, he is content during bath time. I put enough water in the tub to where his back stays in the water and pour water over him periodically to keep him warm. When he can hold his head, I may take off the sling, but for now it's made my life much easier.
My daughter has used this bath tub since she was about 2 months old (when her cord fell off) she is now 5 1/2 months old and she's almost out of it, she likes to try to kick herself out of it, just because she's growing. We loved this bath tub, it looked like it was very comfortable for her and it was easy for me to know if the water was too hot or not, overall i would definitely recommend this product to anyone.
I love everything about this tub. My son enjoys his bath and I enjoy knowing he is safe. The sling is great although he's almost to big for it. I've used the tub without the sling and he's doing okay he actually enjoys being in the water more. I also really like the fact it has a built in thermometer, it is accurate.
My 4 month old loves this tub. It has worked wonderful for us. When he was tiny, the sling was tight enough that he wasn't hitting the bump underneith, but loose enough he's still in the water. And since he's outgrown the sling, the actual tub is a great shape and he looks very comfy in it, and definately loves his bath time!!!
Still after almost 5 months of having twin boys.. I am still using this tub!! My boys were born around 4 pounds.. so the sling for the newborn phase was great to have. They are now big enough for me to use without the sling.. and I still love it. I bought a digital thermoter for the water.. but the thermoter inside the tub is just as accurate as the more expensive one I bought separately!! I would definitely buy this again!
I bought this tub because we had not received one at our shower and needed one fast. I ended up loving it! The sling gives enough support that the babies head is not under water yet gives just enough so that the babies back is in the water so he isnt freezing the whole time. I love that the frogs head is a cushion and terry cloth. I feel like my baby is so comfortable in this tub. Plus you cant beat the price. We had the Aquarium tub, same as the Rainforest tub, with my other son and when he was in the sling his back would hit the bump that is underneath it, for when they are older and able to sit up. I definately recommend this tub.
overall i really do like this product and am glad i purchased it. the only thing i had a problem with was that the sling wasnt all the way sewed onto the plastic clip but a needle and some thread fixed that quick enough. i think its a cute tub and would recommend it... just make sure the frog sling is sewed onto it right.
Well i really loved the sling it was great for small babies so it gave you a hand. But the sling was hard to get on and off. But i really liked it.
I like the bath, its cute. The froggy thing that is suppose to hold baby up doesnt fit on the bath so I wont be able to use it...its too small to latch onto each side at the same time. But the tub has some padding and the froggy thing can lay in the bottom of the bath for extra padding. I guess for what I paid it is ok. It comes with some bath toys and a little cup thing to rinse with. It is cute though!
this is the 2nd tub i've gotten and am not happy w/this one either. if you put enough water in it to try and keep baby warm, it get's in their ears. i thought i'd like it because of the curved design, but i dont care for it at all. i gave it a 4 for features just because it came with the sling (which i didnt even use), tub toys, and the thermometer at the bottom. it also seems durable, i just won't be using it any more.
