We bought this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She loves it! She's big enough to ride it now, but there's still plenty of room for her to grow.
We bought is bike for my daugter's 5th birthday and she was absolutely delighted. It looks even better in person. My daughter is tall for her age and it fits her perfectly, with room to grow into. The quality is very good, and the overall design extremely cute. She took her first ride today, and rode it like a pro. Really good construction. We couldn't be happier.
Once assembled, this bike met my expectations. Getting it assembled was another story. The front wheel was very difficult to slide into place. The left pedal needs be screwed in counter clockwise, even though the directions don't specify that point. Huffy could do a better job with the assembly instructions. The instructions apply to several different types of bikes and you have to pick and choose the instructions that (hopefully) apply to your bike.
the product was fine the only thing that needs to be addressed is the fact that a lot of people will not have the tools to put the product together.
This is a beautiful bike, My 4 1/2 year old loves it. Three days after we got it the seat pin broke in half and my little girl was very sad. We got another pin and everything has been fine.
I found this an hard item to get in the stores so I purchased it as a site to store. I chose site to store because I could have it put together at no charge and I would be asured it was asembled correctly.
It is a really nice bike and easy to assemble except for the training wheels. The cuts in the training wheels did not allow the back tire to meet the pavement properly as the back wheel kept spinning. My husband had to make the cut longer to allow the training wheels to work properly.
The bike was what was expected, however ordering from walmart.com was a joke. This is the third product I have ordered, and it was delvered late as were the other things I have ordered. This order was later than any other order, and did not arrive in the given time. Took 3 weeks to arrive. I will not be using walmart.com to order any more for a long while.
Had this bike sent to my house because site to store would have taken longer. When the bike arrived it looked as if it was kicked and punched the whole way to the house. Holes in the box, and given the over all shape of the box I find it hard the damage was only done in shipping. To my astonishment the bike was not trashed, but there were issues. Seeing as this was an Easter gift I did not have time to exchange or take it back. The rear wheel was not straight and needs trued as it has a slight wobble and the bell was broken upon arriving. If you are looking for a cheap bike and need to buy this cause you daughter MUST have a Brave bike. Then have at it. But I would suggest trying to get it in the store in order to check the condition of the contents. Otherwise I suggest shopping for a quality bike.
I ordered a girls bike for my daughters birthday. The bike was shipped in a beat up smashed box with tape holding it together. When I removed the bike from the box, the bike was scratched and damaged. I did not want to give my daughter a damaged bike so I got a refund. I think Wal-Mart should have never shipped me a damaged product. I really was counting on that particular bike for her birthday.
