We got this for our 3 year old's Birthday. He was thrilled with the sounds and spiderman look. He was able to get on and go right away. It is a good size for him and seems to hold up well. An all around enjoyment for him!
Superman graphics are fun, sounds are good, seems fairly sturdy. my son is 3.5 and should get a lot of use out of it.
My 4 year old grandson loves this, rides it all the time. Do find that it is hard to ride on the cement, wheels just spin, doesn't have good traction. But, he calls it spinnng out so he loves it. Also little bar between back tires is so low that doesn't allow you to ride in grass or any where unless it is level But, once again he loves it and that's all that matters.
My mom ordered this for my son, through the site to store pickup, for his 2nd birthday. I picked it up at the store and my husband put it together the night before my sons birthday. He loved it and was so excited about it. It definately was his favorite present. The first problem is that the bike has a downward lip in the back that sits almost lower than the tires, so if you try to ride it on grass it's impossible. The second problem is that two days after receiving it one of the back tires is cracked down the middle. Almost making two half tires. We had bought one of these "plastic" bikes for my daughter, when she was 2 and is now 8, and it is still in a lot better shape having gone through two girls. I guess they just don't make things as well as they use to. If you want to spend $40 dollars for a toy that will last two days get this, if not, find something else.
The trike rides to low there is a lip on the back end that I believed is used as a safety feature that prevents it from tip over backwards so the clearance is only a few inches. The pedal fell off the 1st time it was taken out side and the seat sits to far up when most children learn how to pedal and the bike is too small.
Though all the parts don't fit on in a practical way, this trike has been fun for my 3-year-old son. It sits really close to the ground, so any rocks that you go over drag on the back and it's hard to make sharp turns (like to turn them all the way around to go the opposite way on the sidewalk or street)
I thought it was cheaply made and not worth the money. I also bought the Batman Big Wheel, because my grandsons are twins and that was made so much better and sturdier. My grandson however, loved his Siderman chopper, but he had difficulty riding it because the front wheel wobbled and skidded when he peddled. They are small for 4, so he had difficulty with the laying back effect of the chopper since there is no back support at all. He had to hold himself up with his hands on the handlebars. I returned it for a Hot Wheels Big Wheel and he is in heaven riding all over the neigborhood..
My 3 year old son got this for his 3rd birthday in December. He tried and tried to ride it this spring but would get VERY frustrated with it because it does not turn. This bike is cute but very poorly made! We ended up buying the Fisher Price Hot Wheels one which he LOVES and is working on wearing the tires out!
This was one of the most difficult thing to assemble. Parts did not fit well together. It seems really flimsy. And the extension off the seat in the back makes it difficult to ride over carpet and probably grass. It was a total Christmas Day nightmare with 3 people attempting to fix it. Wish I had not bought.
We got this for our 3 year old son this Christmas. We had to return it after he rode it for less then 15 minutes. The pedal came off and could not be repaired. We also had issues with the sound effects not working when we assembled it. Defianetly not a great gift idea, led to quite a broken heart in our little man.
