I bought this for my 3yr niece. She is going to think she is special that she has her own dishes.
I wanted just small-sized metal fork and spoon for my granddaughter, but found only sets with plates. They're great. I think the material is perfect for kids, and the handles are still fatter for their little hands, weighted, too. The set feels very substantial.
Spoon is too big! The plate and bowl are fine, nothing spectacular.
