[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Gro Gate because we are got a new Grandson so he will be crawling before long plus we have some puppies that need blocked from rooms so this gate was the perfect one!! I love that it has the 2 in 1 option to mount it to the wall with the inclosed hardware or It can be pressure mounted and used as a barrier, meaning that the panel can be lifted and removed manually....I like having the 2 options!! Option 1 to mount it to the wall it will swing out to walk through. Option 2 is to pressure mount with hardware given and you can lift it up and out of the way completely. Installing it was very easy as everything come with it and it's very durable and well made so its definitely not going to break easy...it comes in a few different colors of wood but I choose the Drifwood!! Serves the purpose and is very helpful when you need to block children or animals to keep them out of things or harms way!! Will definitely recommend!!!!
We used it on the back deck to keep the chickens and dogs off because they were tearing up the vegetables we have in planters. It's GREAT that it's hinged so that it doesn't have to be undone and redone every time we go on and off the deck! I highly recommend this Gro-Gate! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought so many different gates for my children over the years.None come close to the quality, beauty and safeness of the Dreambaby-Nottingham Gro-Gate Driftwood baby gate. It is extremely strong and durable with a eye catching design. It has an easy lock mechanism that is stress and problem free. At 41 inches width, it can fit very big doors or medium size hallways. I loved this gate so much, I have bought two.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for a few weeks now. It came with everything you could need to install even papers to line everything up on the wall. Down side is you have to pay attention when closing the gate while there are other gates then you can shot them like a door. With that said none of those have a wide opening like this style.
When I got the Nottingham Gro-Gate I installed it immediately, it's very elegant, and did its job! Neither my baby, or pet could get through it! I put it on the door where my kitchen and living room meet, so I could watch my baby while he played, & I cooked! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I love this gate! We use it to keep our baby out of the kitchen. It is so nice! Love the driftwood color! The instructions were really easy to understand and follow. It took about 15 minutes to install. It is really easy to open with one hand!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very rustic looking and I really like that it doesn't have a ledge at the bottom that requires you to step over it or trip and fall. I didn't like that I had to screw it into the wall but it definitely keeps our babies contained in the area we want them to stay. Overall a very sturdy gate that will work great for small children and smallish pets.
We're not really thrilled with this gate. The instructions are awkwardly written--they tell you to install the closing hardware (screw- or sticky- mounted pads) BEFORE you install the hinges and the gate, so if your measurements are not extremely precise, you'll have trouble once you get the hinges mounted and the gate attached. To close the gate you need to be able to line the pad-tipped posts with the small cups on the doorframe, which is not easy to do precisely every time if you are passing through frequently. Since it can be expanded to fit different sized doorways, if you are moving a lot you have the flexibility to adapt to different spaces (however if you are using it with as a walk-through you are going to be drilling holes in the doorframe. Pros: ---There is no horizontal bar across the base of the doorway, so there's nothing to trip/step over. --Easily expandable/reconfigurable. --Wood is of a nice quality. --Because it is attached directly to the door frame/wall, the entire opening is left for entry (our other gate has a frame that takes about 4 inches off the available space.) If you're moving a wheelchair through the doorway, the fully opened swing gate (hinge and edge of gate itself) only sticks out about 3 inches. Cons: --You have to fiddle with latch to close properly especially if in a high use area --Poorly written instructions --Big gap on the latch side. --the gate has two plastic "feet" on the bottom edge, to lift it off the ground, and I see the potential for scraping on the floor if you are using it as a hinged gate [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
