If you want a delicious soft on the inside white bread. This is it. 100% better than any wonder bread etc. Let it cool all the way, on a rack and it will be easy to slice. Turn it on its' side for slicing. I store in loose plastic bag with paper towel partially wrapped around it. Fits perfectly in the $2 nonstick loaf pans Walmart sells.
A good simple white bread. I accidentally over proofed the first loaf because I got distracted. Second loaf turned out perfect. It's a simple white loaf. It won't replace my rosemary dutch oven crusty bread or my English muffin bread but it is a nice way to have fresh bread on 80% of my time because baking from scratch requires a lot more time/energy than I can muster most days.
I would first like to say something about the reviews that are about not receiving the product, or who irresponsible about not being home when their delivery was delivered, these reviews have NOTHING to do with the product,. This is one of the best frozen bread doughs out there and it's extremely versatile, I not only use it for delicious fresh bread, but it's also great for pizza crust, dinner rolls, runzas, steamed buns, etc. And they are very reasonably priced too, it were to buy the ingredients for 5 loaves of bread it would cost about the same.
This bread is absolutley delicious. Instructions say to let it rise 4-7hrs. if you keep your house around 70 let it rise 10-12hrs. I bake it for 20 mins. It is perfect, and only about $1.36 a loaf.
My kitchen is cold, so I used a seed starting mat to get the dough to proof perfectly.
This bread far exceeds our expectations! Growing up I always made homemade bread. Then times/circumstances changed and I stopped making it. I've been longing for a bread for a while and decided to try Rhodes. I am so glad I did! Follow instructions, and you won't go wrong. Don't overproof it tho. I do sometimes, and I pinch it out a bit to release the air. Then wait a few mins and put it in the oven. The pic included shows the one I had to pinch out. Still turns out great, just gives you extra steps if you do overproof. This bread is soooo easy to make! I make it every other day, and my family love it. Crispy on the outside, soft and breathe-y on the inside! I snack on it solo, too. That's how good this bread is!
I use this dough all the time to bake bread and pizza. It's perfect every time!
This bread tastes so delicious! It tastes so delicious that we longer buy bread sold on store shelves. If you don't want to go through the process of making your own bread, then I would suggest this method. It's really easy to prepare. I have gotten better at slicing the bread. I just let the bread rest for an hour and then slice with a serrated knife.
this was nowhere near what i wanted including the count on the item i needed. i ordered 5 bags of the 72 count rolls but only recieved 1 bag of the 30 count plus this bag of what i dont eat. i think its easier/better to just get what is in the order or leave it if its not available %26 notify the customer.
I picked up a bunch of stuff for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Today Christmas Eve I went to make my recipe and noticed the bread said best when sell by 7/23 . Not happy with Walmart for not checking their stock. 🙁
