We bought these Pizza's last week for the first time and didn't know what to expect because we have never ate Jack's Pizza. My entire family like these Pizza's better then Red Baron and Tombstone. For the price you can not go wrong.
This is the best frozen pizza that I have baked in a very long time. Probably since DiGiornia decided to start remaking theirs. It is very tasty. Hint of garlic and spicy enough too. Didn't even smother it with chiles as I normally do with frozen pizza. No extra cheese either. Highly recommend and hope Sam's keeps stocking it. One of those great first time experiences.
I look for Jack's on sale all the time and was surprised to find it at Sam's in a 4 pack for a little less than the usual sale cost. I often use it as a base and add to it before popping it directly on a rack in a well preheated oven. It take a little less than 15 minutes if you layer it thick with extras. (avoid piling high the center to ensure thorough cooking) The crust edge turns out crisp and browns nicely, and even if you let it get a little dark so the cheese gets bubbly, it still tastes great. The sauce is perfect, not too little and not too much, no soggy stuff. Sometimes pepperoni pieces will move during shipping, but there's never a plastic sack full of toppings left over, unlike some brands. Take a chance, and don't forget the extra cheese (and some drips of sriracha!)
ya get 4 pizzas in the box, so, about $2.50 a pizza. that's about what ya get. don't expect a whole lot. ok frozen pizza. nothing special. ya might wanna put a few extra toppings on um at the house. i probably wont buy um again. too "blaa" for me.
As new Sam's Club members we were glad to see that they carried Jacks pizza, as it is one of our favorite frozen pizzas. We bought a box of 4 pepperoni and sausage pizzas. Upon opening the box we found that there was something different about these. The crust appeared to be about 1/2 as thick as the Jacks pizza that we were used to buying elsewhere. The taste test revealed that they didn't taste as good either. In fact, if this had been our first Jacks pizza, it would also have been our last. Don't know if there was a manufacturing problem with this lot or if Jacks makes a special batch for Sam's Club that is cheaper. We were greatly disappointed!
