We own a 2004 Buick SUV w/stereo controls on the steering wheel and it would of cost us hundreds of dollars to get an audio system that could use my IPod Touch and still have all original control usage. With this transmitter there is no static interference and no real sound loss. It was a great investment. I had tried the cheaper no name brands but there was too much static too often.
This product is junk. It works really well as long as you hold it in your hand and move it around the interior of your car so you can get a signal. But you can't leave it in one spot or you lose signal. Don't waste your money.
