These flags offer great visibility. The normal mounting for this flag is at the wheel of a bicycle. I happen to have a tricycle so that was out. Luckily, this mounting bracket also has holes that work just fine for tie wraps. The flag pole is in two sections and that's nice for when I move the bike into my yard building. I just pop the flag tops off.
Anything you can do to be safer.
The flag shown is blank. The one i got has a logo (ugly at that)that covered the whole flag. I wanted to put my own logo on it.
Bought this Flag for my travel scooter, so I could be seen while crossing the streets. Love the green veruses the red flags. Also like the fact that it seperates into two pieces. I had to cut the Bike mounting bracket off, for my intended use. I reconmend the green flag for safty.
I ordered 2 flags and neither of them came with screws or bolts to attatch them.I had to secure them with wire. It would be too much trouble to return them.
I ordered a RED bike flag and it arrived in yellow with writing on it, the flag itself was very small, not sure who it would give notice to that a bike was ahead of them, it was so very small. I ended up taking the flag off the pole and inserted another red larger flag that I had to put on the pole. Very, very disappointed.
The picture shows a yellow flag. What actually came was a yellow flag with writing on it say France de tour or something like that. I was very disappointed. I wanted a plain flag without writing so I could put my own logo on it. Very misleading
There are a number of possibilities for mounting, but most options will require some creative purchases as the hardware store. This would be fine fore a child's plastic tricycle, but for anything going more 5 mpm, forget it. First the rod blew out in 3 days, cracked at the connection. Superglue and duct tape saved that for 2 days until the rod blew out again and the flag was in strips. I hate to say it, but this is the worst purchase I've ever made at Wal-Mart.
The flags were not as pictured and were branded as Tour de France flags.
Be aware that the flag is not a solid color. It is yellow with a large unattractive "Le Tour de France" writting/logo on both sides of the flag.
