I see all these others complaining about cooking times. All I do is take out of freezer unwarp then warp sandwich in paper towel place in microwave high for 50seconds and unwarp and flip sandwich rewrap place back in microwave and cook again high 50seconds. done
Every morning for the few years, I have gone into work, grabbed my cup of coffee, and popped one of these excellent breakfast sandwiches in the microwave (pro-tip, leave them in the fridge the night before and a 66-second zap will cook these perfectly). The consistency and convenience of the Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit is remarkable—were the Scientific Revolution only to have occurred for this result, it would have been enough. Slightly gooey yet still with a good protein-packed punch, this breakfast sandwich sits undefeated. I do have one suggestion and I would love to hear feedback from Jimmy Dean on this. Part of what makes this breakfast sandwich so remarkable is its compact and sleek design. The rounded edges of the biscuit adhere perfectly with the contours of the sausage paddy and circular egg disc. It's brilliant! But why is the cheese an exception to the rule? While it certainly looks better for product photos for the box, do those little extra corners of cheese really add that much to the taste and texture of the sandwich? In my experience, they do not. The cheese noted here usually does not actually end up on the sandwich, but melts down onto the plate itself (and normally at screaming-hot temperatures that make the sandwich difficult to handle). The cheese than calcifies onto the surface of the plate once cool, making it very difficult to wash the plate and keep your speedy morning going. As the convenience of this sandwich is one of its main marketing points, I believe this is not peripherally, but centrally important to the overall quality of the sandwich. See my attached picture for both my delightful morning sandwich, but also note the cheese drops on the plate. The solution to me seems simple and welcome to many. Will Jimmy Dean cut the cheese slice to conform to the circular nature of the sausage paddy and egg disc? We know you must have a cutter or mold at the factory, because you've managed to make the egg into a rounded shape, but we can include the cheese in that design? You're doing great Jimmy Dean, you have supplied the masses with the breakfast sandwich of our time. But can we make it a breakfast sandwich for the ages? The corners of the cheese will decide.
was not what I ordered
Bought these several times. My daughter loves them. This last pack of 8 that bought though… 4 of them were missing the sausage in the sandwich?! 🤔
Tasty enough. It's sort of a pain to microwave, best is to separate the sides and cook, then slap it together. Don't overcook or the cheese will ooze out everywhere.
I put the box of sandwiches (whether it's the biscuits or the croissants) in the fridge and not the freezer. I have learned to remove the cheese from the sandwich before warming it in the microwave, otherwise the cheese melts to completely be non-existent. Once the sandwich is warmed, simply re-add the cheese. Not sure if it's because the sandwiches are smaller or the cheese needs to be a smaller slice than what it is to keep it from melting but we found that doing it this way, the sandwich is warm enough to take the cheese when added. Love Jimmy Dean products! We order the breakfast bowls and the sandwiches on a weekly basis. when everyone is working the only time there is to make a full breakfast meal is on the weekend and I always have Jimmy Dean sausage links or Patty's ready to go.
When many other manufacturers were reducing the amount of sausage in their biscuits, Jimmy Dean did not and I bought them regularly. However the last couple times I have bought them, the flavor has changed significantly. When I double checked, it was obvious the sausage patty was much thinner than previously. I would have preferred they raise the price rather than compromise on the flavor but they instead chose the latter. It is really disappointing they think so little of their customers.
Buying for years until now! Quite a bit smaller, even the biscuit is smaller, and the price is inflated. I won't buy again Shame on you!
My husband has been eating these for breakfast for years. This last box he got has been very low quality. He said the sausage tasted weird. He even found a feather in one of his sandwiches. I'm not sure why, but yeah…
I NEVER ASKED YOU ALL TO CHANGE ANYTHING ON MY ORDER. I FHAVE ALLERGIES TO BISCUITS SO I NEED MY MONEY REFUNDED
