i literally just bought this today and love it already. It doesn't look orange at all when you put it on and smells so good! Definitely will keep buying this product! Never take it away! so far the best tanning lotion i have used yet!
I have to say I love the stuff for the money it's the best I've ever used. It is dark the medium is dark but I like that. It doesn't rub off on my clothes, I wait 30 minutes to get dressed and last for days. Highly recommend
I have used a lot of tanners, and wasted tons of money. This one is the best of the lot by far, and best of all, affordable. I do hope the company does not stop selling thru Walmart!! This works, it smells just fine, and I can afford it. It also comes in a smaller, travel size. Yay!! I will keep buying this year-round, as we travel a lot and I really need it. As to the poor reviews, hmmm....do you know how to use self tanner? Don't forget to let it dry!! It really doesn't take long to dry, unless you are putting on too much product. Also, wash hands right away! I can apply product in a minute per leg, and be dressed in 20 minutes. Yeah, it doesn't last 2 weeks.....but what does? Keep selling this one, Walmart!
Okay so this is the best bang for you're buck self tanner ever. It has green and purple undertones so you're not orange. It's like a Kim K tan. You do need to know how to apply it and most of these other reviewers don't be know how to apply self tanner. So before you apply it, you need to get plastic gloves and a pack of dollar store washcloths that you won't mind staining or a tan applicator mitt works too. I prefer using washcloths over a mitt because they're way cheaper! I always shower, shave and exfoliate extremely well before applying. I get out of the shower and apply lotion to my elbows, knees and ankles ONLY. Not my entire body. These places tend to have more skin on them so they get darker than the rest of your body. Then when I'm fully dried, I put on a pair of plastic gloves, take a DRY washcloth and put one pump on the washcloth at a time and apply the tanner in a circular motion. The dry wash washcloth will buff out any streaks and give you a really nice application. I tried applying it without the washcloth and it did NOT go well. Applying it in front of a mirror is the best way to go. It's also really fast drying so you will want to blend it in fairly quickly with the washcloth. It's completely dry by the time I'm done and I just go about my day. I can even go to the gym with this on and it doesn't get on my clothes or streak. I leave it on for 12-24 hours and then rinse it off and shower as normal without exfoliating, again using the non oily soap, and i apply it again. I repeat this 3 times and my tan always comes out perfect. This tanner does have a tinted guide to it that instantly bronzes you so you can see where you applied it. That will wash off when you shower. If you applied it correctly, only a tiny bit of color should be in the water. If the product is all washing down the drain and you come out of the shower just as pale as you were, it's most likely because you used a body wash/ shaving cream with oil in it or applied some type of lotion that day. You need to apply this to bare skin with nothing used but a non oily cleanser, like a simple bar soap. I made this mistake the first time I applied it!! I hope this helps everyone get a great tan! I've been using it for months and I swear by this self tanner!!
I finally found a self tanner I like! I looked up YouTube videos on self tanning to see what others have used and never heard of mousee so I decided to give it a try. I was surprised at the results since almost every other self tanner I used was smelly, left streaks, or felt greasy when finished.
love it be sure to wear MIT when applying. and do small areas make sure to rub it in to blend it. This one does not make you look orange like some of the others has a nice color to it dries fast. I've tried probably 10 different brands I give this one five stars
I was alittle skeptical about buying a tanning supplement from Walmart, but I feel dumb now. Proved me wrong. It doesn't last as long as it says, at most a week if you don't scrub your skin in the shower. But the tan isn't orange and it smells great unlike other tanning sprays or mousses. It WILL come off on clothes if you do not be careful and let it dry! (Same as if you were to go in and get a spray tan) I would definitely recommend this product.
It has been years since I attempted self tanner products, 10 years ago they smelled awful and left you orange and streaky... However, being unable to tan at all and being Casper white, I decided to try again after seeing some videos on YouTube with tips... Last night I bought this product and a big makeup brush to apply with and got to work this morning. I applied everywhere and being unsure of what to expect, I only left it on for 3 hours before I washed... I am not orange, I have one streak that no one will see as you can barely tell that it did anything... I am planning to try again tomorrow and see if I can darken up a little bit more, but I don't hate this product, even if it wasn't the product I planned to buy. And btw the smell is pleasant!
The first time I used this I thought about giving it a bad review because it stains your hands so badly. But, I liked the results so much that I tried it again. I just took at wash cloth and soap and scrubbed my hands. The stains washed away. I like this self tanner better than some I paid twice as much for.
Not a bad sunless tanner. After it dried I had no issues with it transferring color. I would leave on for a day and then rinse off and it had a good color and not orange. This is a sunless tanner for someone who is experienced as it can be challenging to get blended and streak free.
