I have two cats that are quite fond of dragging their water dish across the floor, leaving me with endless puddles to wipe up. I wanted something that would budge easily and this works great. They only manage to tap their feet in the water and scatter wet footprints across the room.
We got 2 of these bowls for our corgi. The rubber ring around the bottom is a great idea, and the bowls stay in place. However after about a month a crack in the rolled rim at the top of one of the bowls happened for no reason and the bowl had taken an egg shape. A week later there was another crack about half way around the bowl. That made the bowl almost fold in half. We were going to get a replacement until the other bowl started to do the same thing. We had to go buy plastic bowls to replace them. Our corgi does not like them as much because he has to chase his food.
