Stainless steel, Chrome polished with a rubber bottom to keep the bowl from sliding around. I would have to say the bowl holds about 12 ounces or more. Good size for a small dog or cat.
PERFECT water dish for my 6 lb. chihuahua. It holds 2 cups of water maximum. The label peeled off instantly! Now I own 2 durapet stainless steel bowls with non-skid base. One for home and one for the RV. I loved the free site to store delivery option.
Now, my dog's dish doesn't slide all over the floor.
I bought these bowls in my local store and was really excited to get them home and washed for my mutt babies to use, but alas! The yucky HUGE stickers on the front of the bowls is glued really well to the bowl, so much so that I had to use "Goo Gone" and scrap pieces of adhesive for an hour to get the silly stickers off. Of course they can't use reasonably sized stickers, no, they have to find one that takes up one complete side of the dish to really make you mad. These stickers are glued on with some strong glue or something and are a pain to get off. Honestly, the only reason I would suggest someone not to buy these bowls is if they don't have the patience to scrap away with their finger nails at the stickers. Lucky for me I am a tom boy so my finger nails are junk anyway, but my thumbs where nubs when I finally got the stickers off. Otherwise, they are dishwasher safe, have a nice grip on the bottom and are a good size with no tapered bottom like some bowls have that waste space. And once you get the stickers off, they look nice.
