My 3 year old daughter cracked it wide open on her second wack!
It's a little pricey for something that you can't reuse but the kids loved it. We had 10 kids ages 1-10 and we had them all grab a string and pull at the same time so everyone got to participate. I put more than the 3 pounds of candy that the directions say it will hold and it was fine. I will be having one at every party from now on.
The strings for the kids to pull were to short to hang the pinata from a ceiling. I had to hold the pinata in my hand. I wouldn't purchase this item again. I wanted to return the pinata when I took it out of the box.
It was decent for a store bought pinata. Holds a lot of candy but with one good hit it broke. So only a couple kids at ages 2-6 got to hit it before it broke. I really liked the pull string for the little ones. They had fun with that. But over all it wasn't that bad but I wouldn't pay 19.99 more like 14.99 just sayin.
I was very disappointed in this piñata. The candy fell out before the first kid even swung, so we had to tape it all up and even then, the candy came out from the sides. Cute, but not well made.
