Super fast sane day ! Thank you
My husband and I do not like eating red meat and pork. These are delicious, even when microwaved. I have also pan fried and oven baked them. I add Worchestershire sauce before cooking. Put on a bun with your usual "burger" toppings = delish.
After reading these reviews I kept wondering if I was eating what they were because I dont think these are bad at all! They are quick to cook, add toppings and lunch/dinner is served. Great to keep in the freezer for a protein packed meal if you dont feel like cooking something that takes alot of effort :)
I am a meat eater that had to cut down. These are the only thing that i have tried that even comes close to the real thing. Slap them on a charcoal grill and you are hard pressed to tell the difference between these and real burger once you have added them to a bun with the usual burger toppings.
Okay, you're not going to fool anyone with this burger. It is most definitely a veggie burger. However, if you prefer veggie burger to beef, which I do, it's pretty good. It has enough texture to belie its veggie burger name, it tastes good, and it holds up to burger toppings quite well. It also takes well to grilling and can be cooked in the microwave! It's extremely convenient! It is a good source of protein, and its nutritional profile contains no cholesterol or saturated fat. Yes, by now, it's somewhat Old School. But it represents a good value for long-term vegetarians like me (in moderation, since it is a processed food). I'm quite pleased they're now marketing a vegan version -- even better!
These discs are extra greasy and beyond disgusting. After taking a bite, I checked the ingredient list and realized they aren't made with any actual food, and definitely not any veggies. They might be suitable for robots, but these are not meant for actual human consumption.
I just bought a pack and they are now stringy. The texture is so weird now. And the taste is bland. What happened??
I have been eating the real "original" grillers for ~30 years. I stopped buyig them when the taste changed. At first I thought it was a one-off. Then I realized it had changed. The consistency is terrible and it tastes awful. So very disappointed, this was my go-to. I would give it zero stars if I could.
I've eaten these for decades. Something has changed. I've thrown out the last four packages because I kept thinking maybe they thawed at the store. These have been a staple in our family for years and they are simply awful now. The chicken patties have also changed. Please change them back.
I understand wanting to eat healthier, but these taste like absolute crap. I've eaten some plant based patties in the past that were pretty good. I don't know what these are, but it's probably one of the worst tasting things I've ever ate. I forced myself to finish the first bite, but the second bite I had to spit out. Very bad.
