I bought this for my daughter when she was 6 months old. It is a decent size. It has a small blue circle in the bottom that turns white when the water is too hot and the duck quacks when you squeeze it's beak. I had it for almost a year and it never got a hole and never stopped quacking. Another person mentioned it being too big to fit under the spout, but I never had that problem. It was perfect. =-)
I purchased the Garanimals Duck Tub for my daughter when she started sitting up on her own at 6 months old. I knew she was too big for the baby tub and too little for the big person's tub. I have to say that this product is fantastic. It is her size of tub with room to move around. She loves it and she is almost 16 months old. I will continue to use the duck tub for her until she is 24 months old. We will then use it for the new baby that is on the way. The "hot" indicator is helpful to let you know the water is not the right temp for your child. The duck also quacks when you squeeze the beak. We did have to replace the duck with the one we had at my parents place but I think the air leakage may have been due to one of us. It still lasted for quite some time. Just need to take care of it. I have recommended this to other parents for their little ones.
When my son grew too big for his plastic sink tub I looked for something else. This was it!! It fits inside the bathtub. Provides a safe, soft, fun spot for him to splash, bathe, and get clean and the duck quacks when you press the beak. My son loves standing up and hugging his duck, then sits and takes a bath. I love it because I feel its a safer option than using a regular size tub when he is still small. He started using it when he was 6 mo. old and and now he is 13 mo. old and still loves it. There is also a "hot spot" in the bottom to help you make sure the water isn't too hot. I rarely have to reinflat it. We just leave it in the tub for drying/storage.
At about 5 1/2 months my baby was just too big for his plastic baby tub, so i decided this looked like it would work. HE REALY ENJOYS THIS TUB! He never slips, hes got room to move around, the ducks beak goes "quack quack" and he looks forward to bath time because this tub is just so comfy for his little baby butt! The ONLY thing i dont like about the tub is the "hot" spot at the bottom, doesnt work acuratley. I can tell when its too hot with my arm and the hot spot still doesnt turn white like it should. Other then that the tub is awesome and i would most definatley recommend this to someone whos looking for a convient way to bathe they're baby who's out grown their little baby tub. Just make sure your little one is able to sit by themself before useing this tub. You'll realy enjoy this tub and your baby will look so cute splashing around in they're big ducky tub! <3
In addition to the advertised safety features, the Duck Tub keeps my grandson safe by helping to keep him upright and prevents him from bumping his head on the faucet. He is two years old, has been bathing in his duck for over a year, and has loved every minute of it. There is plenty of water for him to play with his toys while conserving our precious water supply. This is absolutely the best buy I have made for him.
My little one used this after she was too big for the baby tub, but still too small for the big tub. She loved the quacking beak.
My 15 month old daughter has been using this tub since she was 6 months old. We had to replace it once because the original got a hole in it, but it was no big deal since the tub doesn't cost much to replace. It's a comfortable tub for my daughter, and she loves hearing the duck 'quack'. The only problem is that you have to use a large cup or bucket to fill it up, since the ducks body is too large to fit under the faucet in the bathtub. I don't have a problem with filling it though, but since it is a minor inconvience, that's why I knocked a star off of the review. Overall a great tub for when baby is old enough to sit up!
