[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most important thing is that is tears free. I believe any mother and father out there is nervous about showering they baby and making sure shampoo doesn't get on their eyes. Well, the Johnson's shampoo has your back. Is so smooth and leaves a great smell behind after every shower. I recomend it to buy it. Its sure to be one of the best for every parent out there.
We have used many other brands of shampoo for as long as I can remember and always come back to the Johnsons Brand. LOVE the smell and love how soft and shiny it makes my Grand Daughters hair. It lathers well and doesn't leave behind anything that will weigh the hair down. My only complaint is a bottle THIS big is hard to handle so we fill up a smaller bottle keep it on hand, and put this big heavy bottle away until we need to refill.
I have used this product for most of my life. My mother used it on me when I was a kid and I continued using it in my later years too. My Barber/Stylist said I have healthy hair. I was using other simple shampoos until it became hard to get the simpler shampoos and the price was a lot higher. I am now 71 years old and I decided to use your baby shampoo again. It can take several minutes in the shampoo aisle just to then narrow the choice down to 3 or 4 shampoos. I am a senior on a budget and decided that your baby shampoo is a great product without all the added stuff that I really don't need and the price is affordable. Thank you for a tried and true product that is safe and affordable for my hair. It is a great product!
Almost everyone I know who has a baby has used this product at some point. Nothing wrong with it. It's not organic or earth friendly or anything like that. It just works fine.
The first thing I noticed was the awful scent of the new formula. Next, the new bottle is fatter so harder to travel with. The pump is impossible to use with only one hand. My whole adult family (4 people) use this shampoo for everything from hair to body and face wash. No more. PLEASE bring back your old awesome formula!!! Why change what worked forever???
This product has been changed from the original. I used this for my children and remembered the light, clean fragrance it had. This prompted me to buy it again (for great grand-children. It now has a different, highly scented (I hesitate to call it a fragrance) smell. After rinsing thoroughly the smell lingers on and is most unpleasant! I wouldn't wash my pet with it, let alone a child or use it myself. What was wrong with the original fragrance that it had to be changed. It was quite nice all the years it was being sold. I am disposing of what is left (90% of the contents)! Comment please, from someone who is knowledgeable about this. Thanks.
This shampoo has been watered down so much so, that it easily slides thru your fingers before it can be applied. If you read the front of the bottle, you will see that "as gentle to the eyes as water" seems to be just that......WATER. I'm sure this increases Johnson's profits, but I would rather pay more for the quality product that it used to be. I won't be buying again.
I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed you have changed the formula again. This is the only thing myself, husband and 2 babies use. We tried using this new stuff the babies both broke out in rashes one 9 months the other 3 months. My husband used it this past Saturday he had difficulty breathing thank goodness he had his inhaler on hand. I myself have severe allergies so this is the only shampoo I could use the past 12 years daily but, since you changed it to this new stuff I can't even be in the same bathroom it's being used in gives me a bad headache, breathing issues as well so thankful I have not tried it on myself. I just finished the old formula so now I'm really in a bad situation what am I going to use. Is there any old formula left if I had some warning I would of stocked up. I am truly truly disappointed and after talking to many people about this disappointment the other families are having issues too. The smell is pretty awful too. I hate to say it but, I believe you are going to be losing a lot of consumer's. I agree with the one comment you should of left the old formula and gave your consumer's a choice. I'm pretty sure people would stay with the old formula.
I've used various shampoo w/without conditioner. Bought "JOHNSON'S Baby Shampoo" sku 8137-117730. Burns my eyes. I will return it and will search for one that MIGHT tell the truth! Bet this doesn't make the reviews!
Arrived completely frozen. How cold does a shipping airplane/truck have to be to freeze baby shampoo? That is a question I never really thought about before. I guess I shouldn't shop for liquid products from Wal-Mart during the winter........
