Use this as an outside gate on the deck. After three years of being outside, it held up well and I just had to replace it.
Very easy to install, we needed a gate for the tiny opening of our stairways, it fits perfectly. Effective and efficient, we really are satisfied, baby can't get through or open (well some time we stay behind too as it needs to get used to the security 😁)
It does the job. A bit flimsy but will hold up with my 36lb toddler pushing on it just fine (*granted you install correctly and drill into studs*) It's definitely aesthetically pleasing. It's annoying to open/close because it makes a squeaky noise but for the price it's fine. Not keeping it up forever anyway.
Bought one previously for when grandkids and dogs come over can be stained any color if wanted,loved older gates hardware better on older gate don't care for updated hardware version . Older gate 5 star new gate 4
It looks great and fits our space perfect at the top of our stairs. Unfortunately, it's really hard to open one handed, which is pretty important since I'm usually walking up the steps with baby in hand. Otherwise it works
Great for the price . Holds up well for my pets to keep out of the kitchen.
I'm using to keep dogs from upstairs. We open/close the gate A LOT. Gate easily comes off hinges (fixed by backing top mounting screws out 1/4 inch). The bottom closure eye hook is just useless if you're constantly opening and closing - too much trouble to latch, and the gate width adjustment doesn't slide very well to adjust the opening width. It would probably get more stars from me if we leaving it open or closed most of the time, but I would not recommend in a high traffic area.
It's an okay gate. The latch isn't too friendly at first but once you do it enough it's easier. But getting the bottom hook on simultaneously seems nearly impossible which is why I can only give 3 stars.
Difficult to install, and difficult to open and close. Flimsy and left a lot of damage to my walls.
