I have 3 dogs that love getting into trouble. I use this gate at the bottom of my stairs and not only does it hold up to 3 basset hounds pushing against it but it holds onto the wall very well. There are 4 small white pieces/brackets you need to mount to the wall and the gate comes off completely if you want to hide it from guests. The assembly is easy and takes about 20 minutes. The push button and slide is easy to use. This is not a gate to climb over, it is too tall. You will need to use the push button latch.
This gate works for dogs and puppies over size 4 lbs. Not sure how it would handle 2+ yr old toddlers. Was easy to install. Locking mechanism is somewhat easy to use but is not the best kind. Unit swings out just fine. Sometimes it hangs a little when trying to shorten/lengthen it but other than that, it works great for what we use it for.
Not hard to install. This gate is sturdy and easy to open and close. It looks nice and works great for keeping my chihuahuas in the kitchen at night.
This gate is very sturdy and durable. I'm pleased with the price we paid for this gate as well.. Great product..
We have a 64" opening and couldn't find a gate wide enough until I found this one. It works great! It's a little hard to open but I would want it that way so my great-granddaughter can't open it. I really didn't want to put screws in the wall but all the bigger gates require it.
Perfect for large size doorways! Secure wall attachments for large dogs.
We got two of these gates to keep our dogs out of the kitchen and it works like a charm. Very sturdy. Took about 60 minutes to install two of them. The child proof "push in on two buttons" release on the top is a bit of a pain if using it for dogs and not for young children. Wish there was some way to disable it. Otherwise I'm very happy with the two gates.
Very inexpensive way to close in the kids or the dogs. Looks great, works great and best of all, it detaches quickly when you dont need to use it. Very easy to install and is 65" at widest point but adjusts down to approx 25". I have a tiny Chihuahua and she can't get squeeze herself through any of the little openings even when the gate is totally expanded. I love mine, saved me money and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a nice secure gate that looks nice too! Thanks Walmart!
This gate is high quality and works for what we needed it for, the bottom of our stairs. The only hang up is it is not that easy to latch as it has a bottom and top latch. It can be done with one hand, just not as easily as I was hoping for.
Works well in wide doorway. Easy install even though instructions are picture only. Flexible yet durable. Would buy again.
