Very sturdy gate.
The extension tube rails needed to be 1 inch longer. I had to use small spacers inserted in the main gate to seat the tube rail shallow engough creating a ridged frame. No problem for me but others may have issues.
The lift mechanism feels a bit flimsy, but overall the gate has been working to safely encage my toddler.
The extension is fine, but the online guide that says which extensions you need for a given length are aweful. I ended up having to get 2 more small ones that make it actually fit.
Broke within 1 week of setting up. Like other reviews said, it's very hard to open with one hand. You have to press a button on either side of the handle and then lift. But the buttons are weird and don't press well, and the handle is far from the buttons. If you had very large hands and strong fingers, maybe you could do it.
