Could not tell it was refurbished. Vizio M70 so much better than D or E models. Large TVs are difficult to install. It took a helper and most of the afternoon to wall mount over fireplace. So far the picture and performance are great.
Last year's model at a significant discount. Works perfectly. Great way to have a much better TV at a cheaper price. The M-class Vizio TV is 2 steps up from the entry level Vizio TV at a price less than the current year entry level.
with new TVs, expect technology to keep up... using a smart phone seems awesome to control a tv. I expect reviews to be about picture. how is does with upscaling DVDs, etc. if a tv is damaged during shipping, then you return and get another. not give it a poor review. not the tv that threw itself around a delivery truck. Jesus H Christ... and yeah. you can use a phone to use this. awesome feature. BUT. it does have a REMOTE TOO! tv is great for price. not an LG, or Samsung QLED, but half the price and very fluid. reviews need to be screened to the actually tv. not arrived damaged or TOO much technology! GASP!
I purchased this TV based on some reviews I had read on Walmart.com. It was rated as 5 star by the few reviews that were listed at the time so I decided let's check it out. It ended up sitting in the box for over a month before we moved into our new house. A few weeks before this I noticed some really negative reviews that had me quite concerned about this TV to the point I was going to return it without even opening it. I had originally read some reviews of google before purchasing it that seemed really negative as well and aligned with those most recent reviews I read. I'm not sure what changed my mind but I didn't return it and I'm really happy with my decision. When I pulled the TV out of the box I couldn't tell it was refurbished at all. It looked no different than a new TV would look. When I plugged it into our cable box I was quite impressed with the picture. I was also happy I didn't see anything like the negative reviews had stated about the black lines in the picture. This TV is absolutely beautiful and a phenomenal picture as well. I'm really happy I kept the TV and so is my family. This was well worth the purchase. No other TV's came close to the price for a 70 inch TV at the time.
Got this TV for a great price. no issues. it works great.
Ordering and pickup went well however the screen had several issues including a couple of dead pixels and the dirty screen affect. I was also disappointed to discover that only one port supports HDMI 2.0. I returned the TV due to these issues. Return was challenging as the serial number was missing from the receipt and the order form for some reason, but it was eventually worked out after an hour spent at the store.
Bought it the first time. Backlight was out. Fought to get a second one shipped and that one was damged. I would advise spending a bit more if it's in the budget or downgrade tv's. But do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on a chance that this tv may work. This was a whole month issue to resolve.
I bought ths and it arrived yesterday. I was on Walmart.com with Customer Care hours later returning it. You have to use a tablet or phone to watch anything and that is absolutely unacceptable. I will bot be purchasing any Vizio televisions ever again. The little video package is deceptive. Too bad. It's affordable and very attractive.
Your so-called refurbished TV did not function properly. It had a dark shadow blanketing almost half of the picture screen. This was a complete waste of time and money!
Bought this for myself as a Christmas present, had to rent a truck to get it back to my house. Set up my man cave around this beautiful screen... Turned it on for the first time, only to have huge lines going across half of it. Very sad, stay away!
